Hi guys. I'm not too far from flying a sacrilege and I see there's what looks like an interesting pve fit highly rated on bc, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them in lvl 4's?
I ask cos I like flying cruiser hulls, but also i could have uses for a cruiser sized hull that isn't a t3, due to cost, that could do level 4's.
I have decent skills related to the sac, and I understand the huge missions (ae/wc etc) won't e quick, but a lot of lvl 4's can be blitzes relatively quickly.
Anyway, sacrilege lvl 4's, let's hear your experiences.

Even with an abnormally ganky setup on a sac, you won't deal very much dps. Sure, you'll be able to finnish alot of missions in reasonable time, but... meh. You'd as always be much better off in a drake, let alone a real missionship. Parrots, commence!

ok now im home from work i have done some eft warrioring. this is going to take me a while to type out since i cant remember how to copy to clipboard from eft.
lvl 4 missioning drake (best i can think of):
ballistic control system II ballistic control system II shield power relay II shield power relay II
10mn afterburner II Large shield extender II large shield extender II invulnerability field II invulnerability field II shield recharger II
Heavy Missile Launcher II Heavy Missile Launcher II Heavy Missile Launcher II Heavy Missile Launcher II Heavy Missile Launcher II Heavy Missile Launcher II Heavy Missile Launcher II
medium core defense field purger I medium core defense field purger I medium core defense field purger I
with scourge fury ammo, gives 411 dps, 408m/s, 546 sig rad, 451 omni tank at all 5's.
sacrilege, lvl 4 idea:
medium armour repairer II medium armour repairer II energized adaptive nano plating II Ballistic control system II ballistic control system II
10mn afterburner II stasis webifier II cap recharger II cap recharger II
heavy assault missile launcher II heavy assault missile launcher II heavy assault missile launcher II heavy assault missile launcher II heavy assault missile launcher II
medium auxiliary nano pump I medium auxiliary nano pump I
this gives 489 dps, 554 m/s, 182 sig rad and 381 omni tank at all 5's.
that has similar sig rad and tank to my tengu so i think its easily enough for lvl 4's, it does more dps than the drake, again using t2 ammo. if i really wanted i could change the nano pumps to a warhead calefaction rig and a loading bay accelerator rig taking me up to 610m/s and 549 dps while dropping me down to 300 omni tank.
i'm not really seeing how i 'would be much better off in a drake' but comparing the two it easily has the dps of a (bad, admittedly) raven pilot while tanking a whole lot better. and being a lot more fun too.
i know i know, hams have short range so their applied dps isnt so great, but thats not my biggest worry. i also know that i could use specific hardeners on the drake, but i cba to set up damage profiles on eft ^^
still, i dont think its that bad. its no raven/cnr/marauder/tengu but thats not what im after. i think it could make a solid lvl 4 runner that is fun to fly as its a cruiser?
edit: i didnt use any drones in either of my eft setups

Not sure why you compare hams to HMLs, or even use a passive shield tank on the drake. But it's somewhat clear that you want to fly the sacrilege and well... if you do go for it. I have no doubt it'll be able to complete any and all level 4's with relative ease. All I'm saying it won't be very effective.
The reason I bring up a drake is not because the drake is good, quite the opposite. They're just comparable. Parrots, commence!

In all honesty, the problem with Sac isn't the dps itself, it's the damage projection - The drake can do 400+ DPS out to 120+ km, the Sacrilege is stuck at maybe 1/4 of that, which necessitates more moving around to make sure things are in range.

A Sac being comparable to a Drake is NOT a good thing. Get something better lol.

At the top of your ship window, right next to the "name field" for the setup, you have a spaceship icon which will bring up a pull-down menu -> copy to clipboard.

Don't use a drake (or a sac) for level 4's if you value your time at all.
Seriously, just get a battleship.

ive used the sac and the cerb as mission boats before my bs skills were up and it was fun. mind you, this was before the introduction of t3s, which made both boats pretty useless in pve thanks to the tengu.
still the new hull is awesome and not every minute you spend in eve has to be isk-optimized, its a ****ing game after all. so i would use the following:
[Sacrilege, pve_pimpedAlittle] Corelum B-Type Medium Armor Repairer Khanid Navy Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane Khanid Navy Energized Thermic Membrane Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System
10MN MicroWarpdrive II Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Stasis Webifier II
Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Torrent Assault Missile Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Torrent Assault Missile Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Torrent Assault Missile Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Torrent Assault Missile Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II, Torrent Assault Missile Heavy Pulse Laser II, Scorch M
Medium Bay Loading Accelerator II Medium Hydraulic Bay Thrusters I
Hobgoblin II x3 swap to an ab if fighting angels and the like, because they will be close anyhow. otherwise mwd works in all missions now and will help you much with those sanshas spawning 100km from you.
cheers!

Makes a decent ratting boat against Angel's and their ilk.
For missions you lack DPS and range, sure you can tank anything thrown at you but completing anything will take forever and a day.
For me the Sacrilege has one purpose, and one purpose only: Killing Vagabonds and Cynabals. All other targets are either too small to be damage by HAMs or too big to be killed in any reasonable amount of time.
