Well recently Ive seen some post still popping up talking about Black Prophecy and whether is better than EvE, i wanted other opinion on the game. I played Black Prophecy for about a month and honestly id say eve is better, Black Prophecy looks more fun but its not all open sandbox-ish. Like in eve you can go wherever you want and in Black Prophecy you choose a certain spots where your mission is in warp there. I must say i did enjoy the FPS experience, it was pretty fun but i feel like it will cause problems in large fleet war. I do like Black Prophecy graphics though. What are you thoughts?

I was under the impression that they're entirely separate games and genres aside from the fact that both involve space and combat from time to time (Some people never fire a shot in eve as we know.)
I did hear it needs more content, but not bad considering it's an indie game....Same was said about eve when it came out too if I remember correctly.

The FPS part of is pretty good, and the graphics are not too shabby either.
But everything else is just MEH! Especially the UI when docked.
How long has it been out? Maybe if it keeps going, it could improve.

The only commonalities are "spaceships combat", "ship loadout" and "3D graphics". Beyond that, they have very little in common.
BP is a twitch-based arcade shooter with some barebones RPG elements and not really that much more. EVE is a "simplified weird rules" world simulation where you can (among many other things) also shoot people. _

You forgot to mention the most important part.
Somehow a twitch space game made itself more boring than Eve Online.
That takes some real effort to pull off.
