Edited by: ITTigerClawIK on 17/08/2011 01:24:14 of August and still not a sign of ANY of the final 3 CQ's , if it really does take THAT long to make one room i am not going to hold my breath for the public areas of incarna , tbh, the whole incarna expansion ( if you can call it that) should have been delayed till next year.... again.

I believe I read somewhere that the new CQ's will be going straight to TQ, and not actually going on Sisi, that way everyone experiences it at the same time.

Dont be distracted with branch names. If you think that AUGUSTUS must be releasen in August, then when they should release TIBERIUS (next branch name)?

Incarna should have not been released until your toons could interact with other players. Single player CQ sort of makes the nobile exchange, aurum useless. Sort of senseless buying vanity items that are only really ever seen by yourself.
It was very short sighted of them to launch Incarna in the fashion that they have done, a completed version of it could have actually given them an influx of new players, with the proper advertising of course.
Heck it would have gotten my wife to play the game with me. =p

CCP have said that they want to release Incarna in multiple separate expansion
We started with the character creator in January. This way CCP could see how one Carbon character affected the game, and hardware. In July we got the first Captains Quater. This way CCP could see how one Carbon character + Carbon environment affected the game, and hardware. This winter CCP can open the stations becouse they now can made an educated guess about how several Carbon characters + environment will affect the game and players hardware.
Not only will we be able to see all the things they made earlier, that otherwise would be stored on a hard drive somewhere until everything else was done. And we probably will get rid of the most of the lag-fest as they now know what problems might occur that didn't show up on a 10-player beta test.

Delayed? But, but, but.... what about NEX. That's a massive expansion with tons of new content. Where else you can buy digital pants that cost more than real ones?

Edited by: Oberine Noriepa on 21/08/2011 18:43:55 At this point, I think it's somewhat safe to assume that a majority of CCP's staff are working on Dust 514, with a small team working on EVE. Considering that they want to start a beta for Dust later this year, I don't think it's really out of the question.
