the (hopefully) next eve expansion
"the Sansha invasion has been taking a toll on the empire and capsuleers. the constant attacks spur new developments to help fight back against sansha's nation" -gallente finally fixed their hybrid weapon systems -drones auto return to drone bay if the player disconnects
"minmitar warriors decide now is the time to rebel against their once amarrian oppressors and attack their new Noble exchange store, in every system." -NEX removed because destroyed -anyone with a monocle cries. -players auto-donate monocles to help pay for the fights against sansha's invasions -stations sell BPC's for all NEX items(isk sink) -NEX items take minerals to make
"with the sansha threat, people start leaving planets and moving to space stations, meaning even closets are filled, but a capsuleer is rich and can rent a room, be it per day or permanently, at his leisure" -old hanger's triumphant return - a button on the left side while docked will get u into CQ for .01 isk -while CQ is loading u get to see door....THEN IT OPENS.
other stuff that should be changed anyways
undo sanctum nerf, or at least change it. the nerf did not work as intended. ban bots, defend your damn game from things that ruin it. make Faction warfare something more people would like to do..... make it like a war. make moon goo rotate regions, also make other moon goo more valuable. wormholes are cool, find a way to make them more fun? maybe new types. lowsec needs a purpose, drug manufacturing seems like a good idea NPC stations sell Drug BPC's

I'm already in love to this upcoming expansion and ready to prolong subscription real big time. Is it this winter expansion?
CCP that kind of expansion what we want and you would finally meet players expectations and make your player base grow instead of shrink. Is it that hard to understand?
Not harder then making that NoX MT P2W shop (lets call it its true name) and way easier then WiS which can sure thing wait for next summer considering all the circumstances of Incarna release and failure.
P.S. Forum bots no need to worry. Players and developers only discussion.

making the game better seems to be the opposite of CCP's current goals.

Bots do not ruin the game for CCP IMO. The botters have to pay for accounts too.

Botting doesnt hurt CCP directly, but the number of bots in ur MMO helps show how competent or incompetent a company is..
WoW, with all its players, has very few bots, they have a very very good program that detects and reports them Silk road online, does not, that game is a mess if its still around. Runescape had lots of bots, but they mitigated the damage with random events that required player reaction. Eve has bots how many and how big the impact is, who knows. Exactly what i mean by bots no need to worry. Don't switch the topic and get lost. This thread is not about in game bots so don't play *****ng ***b **s since you very well know it.
Now if you have anything to say about OP do so. If not, get lost.

Yes, every server's market is not filled with ores and herbs Not to mention the constant gold selling spam you're getting. Bots are a problem in every mmo. If you think eve has a much bigger percentage of bots than other games that simply shows how little you know about those games.

Another bot in service? Or troll? Both
Check the name of the topic. Read the OP. Have anything to say on topic? No? Of course!

i played wow for 6 months i'l admit it. a friend and i joined together. in total we saw 2 bots... he saw one, and we both saw one... this was over 6 months... we were on a heavily populated server... so estimating the what, 2000+ people on that server 2-4 were bots. i reported the one i saw, 2 weeks later his character disapeered off my friend list ( banned forever)
im not saying wow is amazing, but they have a very good bot detection. the market has herbs and stuff because people actually farmed it. the gold spam was probably a bot, its probably harder to detect a chat spam bot then a bot farming something Eve online next expansion details |

Well, you do know that bots come in all shapes and forms? Some just kill pigs, others patrol herb/mining spots and farm those. People do whatever brings them profit. Farming ore/herbs in stacks then sold for gold, then sell gold for $$$. And i doubt you actually patrolled the whole bloody Azeroth and stuff to count bots.
But yes, i agree with you. Never imagined i will see the day i would admire blizz on their bot-war. They honestly come down on them with a ban-hammer like crazy.

This is because bots are hacking the client and teleporting below ground to farm for ore and herbs. And because of the phasing in the new zones it's almost impossible to actually see one. You're right about the banning though. It's usually relatively fast. Not that it makes much of a dent in the botting population but there's really nothing else that can be done.
And like you yourself said it's much harder to detect something that is not actively manipulating the game client. Which is why it's much harder for CCP to ban bots in eve compared to WoW.
The fact remains, however, that bots in wow are having a huge impact on the game's economy. It's just that wow's economy is much more simple and has less of an impact than eve's. And this is the reason the bots in eve are more harmful. Not because they are more or that blizzard are dealing with bots better.

Probable expansion:
Content: Some nerfs. Fixes: Russian spellings fixed. Other: If you bought a TCU, then tough as all TCUs have been replaced with a nerf.
New ship: Ner***eddon. Uses light safety-lasers to nerf other ships, making the universe a safer place.

plex prices would probably go up for a bit because people would actually see CCP cares instead of just wants money but when more people come back, some might see, damn for $35 i can get 1 bil worth of plex?? might as well buy a plex and sell it so i can refit my (insert ship here) Eve online next expansion details |

I mean if what you proposed/suggested to be next expansion (Winter) will become reality then I will agree to pay 35$ subscription. Since then it will be a game worth these money.
Of course at the current state of the game there may not be even a conversation about raising subscription costs. With NoX RMT P2W shop and countless bugs and unfinished things to raise subscription would be more then stupid idea. It would be truly fearless innovation of how to completley kill cash cow.

I been playing this game for a long time. Ive payed for 4 accounts for around 2yrs which is around $60 (small car payment). I been through more NERF bats then one deserves, I been through more black screens then I paid for, I even lag with many for many hrs. The blob LAG Will never be fixed NO MATER what CCP does. I do give them koodles for Jita lag!
But soon as my cable bill drops in price the sooner I can afford more toys, that day will never happen
So no I wouldnt pay more to play EVE ONLINE ------------------------------------- We judge others by actions We judge ourselves by intentions. |

If small car payment in your country 60$ then i dont even try to guess where you live or for how many years you have to take the loan to pay for that small car. Who forces you to keep 4 accounts? Keep 1 or 2 but get decent game for these money. Because what you get for 15$ you described and see where it go. You will either end up unsubbing for good or buying things from MT P2W store which in the end will cost you way more and you will unsub for good. If CCP does as suggested in OP the game will be worth 35$ subscription.
Check out similar sci-fi genre games on the market. Questionable quality and higher subscription cost or F2P with P2W. CCP have to go either of these roads. It's a business. Personally i vote for subscription raise after they do what suggested in that OP instead of the road they chose now. Since P2W road will kill the game in long run. I think even their marketing department understood that by now.
