I know right now, they don't, but I think it would be good if they did, does anyone agree with me?
It seems rigs such as an anti-Thermal armor/shield rig are pretty much equal to a T1 passive resist module - excpet the passive resist modules get a boost from the appropriate compensation skill, but the rigs do not.
Right now shield compensation skills (the damage type skills, not the -% cap need for shield booster) seem rather useless since active hardeners are strongly prefered over passive hardeners (I know, I know, if you get neuted, and your active hardeners turn off, then they matter), therefore I think it would be good if they affected the passive rigs as well. To keep things balanced, then the passive armor rigs should also get a bonus from armor compensation skills (even though those are already useful due to EANMs)
How about giving bonuses to the Damage Control modules as well? - they are essentially passive, in that you can't neut them off - its my understanding that they were only made "active" to prevent more than 1 from being used at once.

Considering how underused these are compared to trimarks or extenders, I support this proposal.
They really are quite underpowered at present, and I think everyone would appreciate a bit more variety in rigging options.

I support this. Resist rigs are not used often.
Damage controls: the shield effect is fairly weak, and there is no EANM equivalent for shield So I'm also in favour for them being affected by shield compensations.

would be a nice to have.
Caldari and minny shield tankers at t2 level....get to make some hard choice. Be nice if rigs could offset reliance on active hards. especially lacking a passive all in one. If PVP breaks down to who can drain cap better...there goes the invul and em hard on a caldari ship worst case. Even more fun on hybrid boats like rokhs....you are neuting yourself everytime you fire lol. Meanwhile...there is your enemy with EANM full resists :(
Armor getting a boost a fair caveat.
