About smeggin time...
The wait is finally almost over, god they look old.
Thats perfectly ok though because new Red Dwarf is very cool. "Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must undergo the fatigues of supporting it." - Thomas Paine |

After a quick search of Wikipedia it seems that the new season only has, six episodes....
Right, so when does Red Dwarf 11 air? "Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must undergo the fatigues of supporting it." - Thomas Paine |

I love this show. A bloke, a cat, a service droid, and a hologram, all messing around on a ship in deep space. I can't think of a finer recipe.
I can't wait for the new series! |

They'll manage to screw it up... they always do when milking a franchise.
Case in point... Star Trek: Enterprise "A genius throws a Molotov cocktail and soon realizes that he's going to die choking in a maze of smoke and flame. A hero drinks a Molotov cocktail and soon realizes that if he does a split in midair, he can hit twice as many zombies per kick. Drunk hero wins again, wusses." ~Cracked.com |

Hmm, I got mixed feelings about it. I love Red Dwarf, and thus I have very high expectations of it. Will it be able to be as good in the context of the current society as it did previously? |

I went to the very first Red Dwarf convention in sunny Northampton. :)
Met Hattie Hayridge (Holly), Danny John Jules (Cat), Rob Grant (Writer) and Robert Llewellyn (Kryten).
We drank a lot of beer, watched all the first four seasons pretty much back to back and had some good laughs designing costumes for the cat on beermats.
STILL one of my favourite shows.
I even joined Smegineer's back in the day as I was recruited by none other than Mechanoid Kryten!
Now I just need to go visit my sister as she has Dave on her telly. :) My missus thinks of EvE as 'the other woman'. :) |

Nevermind that, we just have to make sure no-one breaks Space Corps Directive #723

Also, the new show is awesome. Back to the ways of old, it reminded me of Red Dwarfs high point around seasons 5 and 6

Swindon?! That's nothing.
#723(b) would be even worse.
This world does NOT need a second Milton Keynes. It didn't even need the first. |
