I thank you, Ston, for your ideological support of these actions.
If you wish to see a copy of the holovid broadcast yourself, you may want to contact The Summit's moderator who was in the comms channel at the time of the broadcast: Tiberius Thessalonia. As for re-posting it here, I shall not do any such thing for the sake of taste (though rare, there are minors in these channels after all).
Markius, I welcome any gun against her even if it is later pointed at me. That is the extent to which we abhor her acts.

Thank Mr. Jaiga, I have sent a message to Mr. Thessalonia requesting confirmation of the facts. I will try to post here if I receive a response. The Disciples of Ston bid you peace.

Commander Dirtbag, Could you please identify yourself further? I am Valkarth Rayana Tlakotani, of the union of Khanid and Miriya, a CyberKnight-Capsuleer. I have to assume that you are a holder as you have slaves. I would like to understand more of your logic. And most importantly where you stand on the scriptures. -\/

CEO of TCMCT RElana Khashour entered the summit after claiming to have been planetside for the last couple of days. Upon hearing the situation, she said the following, which I quote directly for posterity and so that her words are locked into place.
Relana Khashour > Oh I think I can do a little better in the way of punishment for Miss Vea, But Captain Thessalonia, If you and your collegues would be willing to grant me 72 hours, I will happily remove my forces from the militia.
So what say you, Taskforce? 3 days of cease-fire but close watching?

Absolutely! That would be a far better outcome than any of us expected, and would certainly involve less bloodshed to boot. I'm for it.

If you are the "people of God" then your transgressions against the word of God will be severe indeed as you will be held to a higher standard for your actions than those you deem lesser than yourself in your eyes.
Nothing is more certain than the indispensable necessity of government, and it is equally undeniable, that whenever and however it is instituted, the people must cede to it some of their natural rights |

This is acceptable to me Tib, though I do reserve the right to defend myself, if fired upon by TCMCT forces. We will be happy to wait if we can make the militia a better place.

Mr. Thessalonia confirmed the facts in my communication with him. The Disciples of Ston believe that now is the time for the capsuleer community to press Concord to provide legal mechanisms for the liberation of slaves, be they laborers or topless dancers or whomever. Currently, there is no mechanism for freedom minded pilots to rescue and free slaves when found in our journeys through space. This must change. Currently, those found with slaves aboard are automatically assumed to be slave holders in free systems. We must press Concord and free governments to establish a licensing system whereby trained capsuleer pilots may rescue and then free slaves. Such a provision is long over due. Such a provision, once established, would only allow for the licensee to free slaves and that without any remuneration. Said capsuleers would assume all responsibility that these actions would have on standings with the slave holding sovereignty.
Let us not hold back from stating the ideal that slavery must be abolished once and for all time.
The Disciples of Ston bid you freedom

To what end?
Originally by: Rek Jaiga At the end of this life you must answer to God for your actions, be they compassionate or cruel.
1. Capsuleers don't die. We are immortals. 2. I'm Amarrian. We are the people of God. 3. Minmatar aren't people.
Oh dear.
First of all, the only thing separating you from oblivion is an over worked, underpaid and likely hung over lab technician.... Amarrians must live by God's teachings or be judged by God. Hello? I'm not even Amarrian and I know this. Just because you are the people of God doesn't mean you get a 'Get to Heaven free' card. And I don't think I need to really address the third issue, I suppose you were not blessed with a formal education..
Huh. I think I owe you a drink, lad.
Buy him a Quafe. That's the only way my "retired" slaves will ever find their way back to Minmatar space. Yeah, I'm a Dirtbag. |

If I cared for the advice of a half-wit sycophant, I'd have beat it from you, Dirtbag.
'Sides, Quafe...really? No wonder you're so sour all the time. ~~~~~~~~~~~
