Two ideas: The first one is pretty simple and has been suggested before, but whatever. Allow more than one jump clone to be installed in a given station. Being restricted to one per station is a real pain when you use JCs for different sets of combat implant instead of for instantly jumping around the cluster.
The second, and far more interesting idea is this: Allow jump clones to be 'uninstalled' from a station (note: not destroyed), to become an object in your hangar (a stasis tube or something). This could be loaded into a ship for ease of transport. Doing so would preserve the implants in the clone, and allow it to be installed at another station. The clone could even be uninstalled remotely and put in a courier contract. Obviously, you would only be able to jump to that clone once it has been reinstalled in a station.
This would be immensely helpful to players who use their jump clones as vessels for different sets of implants, as when they move their 'home' they need to move all their jump clones as well. Nomadic players would benefit for the same reason. Even if you only move home occasionally, moving all your stuff to your new home only to have to jump back and move again with your new clone, can be massively inconvenient, especially if you're moving from say, Venal to Stain.
This feature would also be useful to players who use JCs to jump around between different locations, as the clone could be moved without you having to jump to it (just uninstall, move by courier, reinstall at new location).
Now I realise this has the potential to be overpowered. For balance, it should have some drawbacks. Some possibilities could be: - A hefty fee (perhaps linked to clone grade?) for uninstalling and/or reinstalling a jump clone from a station. - A 24hr cooldown between installing a moved jump clone at a station, before you can jump to it. Alternatively, a 24 hour wait between uninstalling a jump clone and being able to move it. - You must have sufficient standings with the station owner to install a new jump clone, in order to reinstall one you already have (not sure about this one - it might effectively make the feature exclusive to sov-holders).
