You try to bring the Faith to the Republic while invading Amarrian systems ? I am confused. |

The Empire does not hold monopoly on the Faith. There's really not much to be confused on.

Look Jaiga, it may be easier (subsequently more accurate) to just say you believe in God and have faith, but nay necessarily the same God and faith o' the Amarr, savvy?
I mean, lookin' at what they have to offer, you're seeing a bunch o' warmongering and elevation o' the Amarr as the chosen people, conquest, Reclaiming, yadda yadda. You're talking about an omnibenevolent being (which don't sound much like the Amarr God to me) and spreadin' faith about that being.
May be more accurate to say that you be thinkin' you found God and the Amarr got it all wrong, eh? That seems to be the common trend for cults these days anyhow.
Either way, bright stars and clear horizons mate. ~~~~~~~~~~~

I agree with Malcolm. It would make alot more sense and be taken much more seriously if it were to be considered a new religion entirely, independent of the Amarrian faith and based on an omnibenevolent, peaceful God.
You could even write your own scriptures..
The above is the author's personal opinion and may not represent the opinion of his CEO. |

I withdraw what I said. You have nothing in common with Abel Jarek. |

I've hereby decided to detach myself from the Amarrian faith on the grounds that my envisionment of God differs from the portrayal of God in the Amarrian Scriptures. For those pilots who've cooperated with me or otherwise agree with me (you know who you are) on this exercise in theology: good on you. For the time being, I'll form no official sect or organization but will rather keep things informal and private. So at this point CPATH's stated mission is to aid the Minmatar Republic and their Gallente allies in abolishing slavery.
Peace be upon you all.

Don't worry Tiberious! At least this way I'm not going to mislead anyone, and I won't be going down a path that I don't believe in.
Besides, I'm happy with where I am for the first time in ages. Truly happy...

But the Theology Council does. And the Theology Council is a part of the Empire.

This is not a scripture issue anymore. You can still believe in them. The issue is now mostly political.
You realize that what you do is pointless, at best ? Would you have stayed to convictions not to invade enemy territory but defend your own, we could have "worked together".
Now then, like many blinded by their own emotions, it is not peace that you will eventually get. |

That was quick. Given your rather fickle political past with the Nation and Covenant associations, I can't say I'm surprised though.

Some of the more nihilistic mindset would argue the same for just about everything we do. And yet, we march on. I march on.

Quite the reverse; whereas in the past I suppressed emotion now I have embraced it. And I am at peace for the first time in ages. Here among the Minmatar is where I truly belong.

This thread done shifted tempo, direction, mood and purpose more than the winds at sea. Jaiga, it be shiny that ye be followin' your heart and tryin' to do what's right by ye, but ye really need to stick with it, savvy?
Constantly changin' course will get you stranded in the middle o' nowhere or spinnin' circles in place while storms gather 'round ye. Your mates'll lose faith in ye and the pile o' refuse left behind from each project ye started and abandoned will build up like mountains surrounding ye. If this be your chosen course, stick to it and see it through, but use caution and make sure you're sailin' the course what's goin' to get ye the results you're wanting.

This is my chosen course, and where I belong. I've got conviction and (possibly) a woman to hold me here! I'm here to stay, Malcolm.
