I plan to do level 4 missions and was wondering what would be ideal to train for my social skills?

Edited by: Jacob Stiller on 26/08/2011 01:42:07 You also want Negotiations for more isk plus the specific connection skill cooresponding to the mission type you are running for more LP (Security Connections in my case).

I've never been mapped into anything with +cha (other than my initial setting) and I have:
Connections IV Diplomacy I Negotiations III Security Connections III Social V
Grand total: 424015 SP.
Going from no skills to these skills is not a huge amount of time, even if you aren't mapped for Charisma. To be honest I should spend the extra three days and get Negotiations and Security Connections up to IV. . |

This sums it up; I've got all to IV, except Security Connections which is still at III. 10% LP gain per level is juicy, though.

Unless you jump about to grind standing, or youÆve messed up by running faction missions and need to fix it, the division one is the only skill you need. It can be argued for Negotiation over the long term, although mission completion payout/bonus is the lowest isk compared to bounties and LP

Negotiation also increases lp..

Its eleven days for me to get all my social skills except security connections to level 4. So I will work on that after a brief period of level 3 social and connections.

Under Electronics I'd grab Targeting 5, and probably multitasking to 3 in case you fancy trying Marauders later. Propulsion jamming is useful if you want to use webs, and if you want to use Torps later Target painting is essential and it wouldn't hurt to grab a level or three of Signature focusing. I wouldn't bother with lvl 5 on these skills yet though.
Mechanic maybe a bit of love to your rigging skills, though I wouldn't take any over 4 at this point. If you intend to salvage your missions Salvaging 5 is worth getting as it opens up T2 salvagers and will help protect your sanity, slightly.
Navigation is Int/Per, which are never going to remap to (unless you remap drunk), trains quicker under an Int/Mem map than a Per/Will one. So I'd suggest getting all you nav skills to at least 4.
Social, I'd go connections 4, Negotiation 4, Security connections 4 and Social 5. Maybe Security connections to 5 depending on how much of a hurry you are to remap.
You will have to return to an Int/Mem map at some point so there is no need to get everything to 5.
