would you please add support for the extra buttons and the extra screen to the game...maybe just the directional scanner or something for the extra scanner.. or the "show info"-window
full customizable would be awesome, of course.
edit1: made a link. edit2: the stuff about extra buttons and display is at 2:15

the oled keys and the TFT touch pad are interesting innovations, but afaik most sensible gamers will gladly drag a 20gk tower around in return for proper customization. At least as long as that enormous price tag is attached to the same high-end equipment in a non-customizable laptop form factor. It'd be a pretty niche market to code for. Tho CCP has gone out of their way for that before (something about alienware laptops? tho i dont think that went as far as an auxiliary display)

it seems to have an nvidia 555m, no thanks, thought the right side LCD thing looks nice, 2800 not worth the price...

Yeah, a 2GB GT 555M, which is barely a bit faster than a lousy desktop GT 440, weaker than a desktop GT 450. Nowhere near cutting edge performance-wise. The CPU, a i7-2640M, 2x2.8GHz, not exactly cutting edge either. The HDD is a 320GB 7200RPM, heh, wouldn't even spring for a SDD at that price ? At least it has 8 GB of DDR3@1333, but, eh.
Yeah, that price is way too high just for a laptop of those technical specs (screen/keys excluded), and the value of those extras is... doubtful. Then again, it looks very nice, the multitouch and key gimmicks might be awesome in practice, and it's still a better price/performance ration than most Macs, so, who cares. If you want the shiny, pony up the cash.
I personally could afford it easily, but would never buy one at 2800$. I probably wouldn't buy it even at 1500$. Heck, even if it goes on sale at 1000$, I'd still scratch my stubble and go "meh, no, thanks".

Hello, Razer Marketing Guy.
Look, I buy your mice sometimes, and they're pretty good. But a mobile i7 with a 555m, as a "true gaming laptop"? I don't think so.
And it costs $2800? You know what else I can get for $2800? A Sager desktop replacement with a desktop i7 and SLI 580m or Crossfire 6990m. Sure, it's 12 pounds, but frankly anything over 5 is equally difficult to carry, and batteries run out so quickly that no performance gaming laptop is truly "mobile" anyway. Just saying. |

Laptops are overrated. You end up spending between 30-50 percent more on average than you would if wanted the same performance out of a desktop.
And I don't think ccp will do that btw okst666 because that's the only step between this and full out custom hot keys. And we all know how ccp likes hot keys. |
