Finding missions to complete is not difficult, but grinding to level up is. Any way to warp ahead to kindo of discover better missions that pay more isk and loylaty points? |

Training Connections is probably the fastest way to get out of lvl 1s. They just give so little standing it's terrible. Connections will give you a derived standings increase with people who already have positive standings.
If you want to start running for an npc corp that's negative standings, train Diplomacy. It does the same thing as connections but it affects people with negative standings. They do not stack. |

Not that bad... went to new faction just for the kicks so far im almost at level 3's
I put about 7 hours into it already.
level 3-4 is gonna take long thought... maybe 20 hours...
but once you get it... you get it.
also, look into doing the Epic arch, if you plan on trying new things and those things mean doing lots of crapp level 1 missions for many many many different high-sec corps.
And remember, once you have standing, its difficult to lose it.

You could also go to a mission hub and ask if anyone running L4s is willing to fleet you and split the reward (though you might need to offer them something in return).

The best way to open up a lot of corps and high level agents is to have high Faction standing. The quickest way to gain high Faction standing is to complete missions for Event_Agents.
EDIT: Training Social, Connections and Negotiation skills will help a lot.

Just a few days ago I went to "level up" as you called it new corp standings. It took me around 4 hours of blitzing lvl 2 and 3 missions (since I had to do only 1 lvl 1 mission) to reach lvl 4 agents. Obviously I used tengu with mwd, and got lvl 2 combat storyline mission... but it's not that hard when you have connections trained at least to lvl 4 like me.
