Edited by: EVEDICE COM on 27/08/2011 20:24:00 I'm proud to announce our brand new project: http://www.evedice.com
The only game site that provides you with the best opportunity to become an ISK billionaire in EVE Online with a click of your mouse button. Roll dice; if you roll 11 or 12, you win triple the ISK amount you've bet. If you roll 8, 9 or 10 you win double the ISK amount you've bet and if you roll between 2 and 7 you lose. As simple as that! No ISK gaming site gives you such odds to win, that's a 45% chance to win and including 18% chance to win triple the amount you've bet!
New users receive 1 million ISK completely FREE!
======================= AFFILIATE PROGRAM =======================
If you refer your friends you will receive 5% of every deposit your friend makes! Login at http://www.evedice.com for more information.
======================= FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS =======================
- How long does it take for a withdrawal to be processed?
Withdrawals have to be performed manually and generally take anywhere from a few hours up to 24 hours.
- How long does it take for a deposit to be processed?
All deposits are automatically processed within 30 minutes thanks to the eveonline.com API.
- How do I know that EVEDICE isn't a scam?
We will be much more successful with a large number of happy players than the number of players we would have left if we were to scam them.
- How does your system work?
We simply use PHP rand() which generates a random number between 2 and 12.
We would love to hear from you guys! If you have any questions, suggestions or comments. Please feel free to reply to this topic or drop us an email at [email protected] or join our chat channel EVEDICE.
Have fun !

After you login to the site, please click on Withdraw. You can enter any amount you wish to withdraw there. The rest will just stay in your account balance until you wish to withdraw again.

True but theoretically, the minimum and maximum numbers from rolling 2 six-sized dice is between 2 and 12.
PS: Normal way would be 2 dice between 1 and 6 and adding both results.

True, but picking a single random number between 2 and 12 uniformly makes this a losing game for the OP (or a winning game for the players). Specifically, for every ISK you bet your expected return is 1.091 ISK. This makes me think that even if it is not a scam (not trying to accuse the OP yet), he will eventually run out of money to pay out winners - just like a slightly more elaborate Ponzi scheme.
If the numbers were picked as one would expect - i.e. a sum of two random numbers between 1 and 6 - the expected return would be 0.917 ISK per ISK bet. ---

Thank you for your input Abdiel. First of all you can be assured that we have deep pockets which will support this project, whichever direction it goes.
Regarding the random number generation. I'm not the programmer and he's currently not available, but I'm quite certain that the script simply uses rand(2,12) and afterwards it just outputs a random dice animation resulting in the total random number. I may be wrong though, I will ask the programmer when he returns.
We may change this in the future and go for your suggestion or do a 2-8 loss instead, but for now we'll keep the system as it is. There currently is an acceptable balance between losses and wins.
Any other suggestions are welcome. Thank you

Edited by: Tsunade EroSennin on 28/08/2011 04:36:44 Well.....I tried this with 15 mill for the hell of it....I did win every now and then got up to 28 mill from 16 mill....but I( noticed that snake eyes (2 one rolls) came up ALOT! I'd say that at least of my 10 rolls, 4 were snake eyes. Makes this seem rigged becuase thats too common imo for a coincidence.

You have to keep in mind that gambling always has winners and losers. About the snake eyes, that has to be part of your luck (or bad luck in your case) or maybe has to do with PHP Rand(). It's out of our reach.

Like we stated in our FAQ "We are much more successful with a large number of happy players than the number of players we would have left if we were to scam them." The only reason we created this project is for fun. It's a matter of luck. I don't know how PHP's rand() exactly works, but that's just what it outputs. My personal advice, your luck will eventually run out, when you reach profit withdraw and come back the next day

Thought i'd update this, i mentioned the above and they are looking into it. I fully reccomend dropping into the evedice chat channel - there quite friendly!
im only up a small amount, but its good for afk'ish gambling!
Thank you Malagar, it was fun having you in the channel. Hope you'll drop by again, even if you don't play.
Also I managed to fix the number formatting now, without having to wait for the programmer :)

For the record, my current situation is that I have withdrawn twice what I have deposited. That includes both lucky streaks and unlucky streaks. Will likely continue playing because, well, it's really just fake money anyway.
And by the way, I have rolled 3 snake eyes in a row with real dice before. Random gives funny results sometimes.

I gave it a try and am please to say that EVEDICE is legit, I'll admit I was a bit skeptical at first, but I was not dissapointed. Well done to those of you who created and run this new casino! I'll be playing again soon.

Our programmer believes the snake eyes have to do with rand(). We have changed it to mt_rand(). It seems mt_rand is a much more superior 'randomizer'.
This should hopefully fix the 'snake eyes' some people seem to get frequently.

Friendly bump here. After some (moderately extensive) testing, I am quite sure this service is legit. Best of luck to those of you running it, and to those of you playing as well. After a chat with evedice, I imagine there will be continued improvements and success in the future.
