I forsee as Ive said before, a AUR charge to get into the stations. That way ppl dont cry about it being forced on them -------- CCP knows better than the players whats good for their game. SOE knew what was best for SWG too. Better than all those players that left too. This is your NGE/CU moment CCP. |

So CCP....
Another day goes by, are you going to stick to your commitment to communicating with the players and answer the questions?
--- Jint Hikaru - Miner / Salvager / Explorer / SpaceBum I can tell you that this is one of the moments when we look at what those at CCP will do and less of what they say. |

CCP "derp"
3 months of painstaking development time goes by and ccp releases a 2 mb patch with little content and lots of updates on their social media platform project that the playerbase isn't remotely interested in or cares about.

Act like children?! Read through these forums lately and tell me who's been acting like children. Sheesh. I think the WoW community is more mature, seriously.

I was going to write something else instead of the word 'Children' but trying to bypass the profanity filter is a nono on the forums. Anyway, outright ignoring peoples questions and hoping they will go away is extreamly childish.

Our current plan is to release the establishment feature later this year. We should have more information regarding the feature in the coming months, as I stated in my last blog :)

Oh sorry, I must have missed them... Prehaps you could tell me if an 'Establishment' is going to be a multiplayer WIS environment? (if you have time, maybe you could add a link to the source too, I would be very interested in reading it) Cheers!

Originally by: 1.1 Patch notes CaptainÆs Quarters
-Some visual improvements have been made to the main screens and menu systems within the Captain's Quarters. -Fixed a rare case where action objects would not be interactable. -Fixed several potential crash issues with EVE Voice. -Fixed an issue with fleet voice chat that could prevent people from using voice chat at all.
The first one was actually the introduction of a few new adverts to the main screens as far as I can tell, not really an improvement. Second is a bug that should never have existed in the first place, not really an improvement, just cleaning up after yourselves. The third is EVE voice related. The fourth is again EVE voice related.
So what exactly have you "improved" with this patch? Am I missing something obvious? |

I'm a little boggled by the OP.
The questions you're asking were answered a long time ago.
Also, the clothing they have been releasing; it was designed and completed before the expansion even went live. If you would have tested the CQ environment via Duality or SiSi, you would have known this.
But, it's the general consensus around here - a lot of blabbering and derping, very little coherent, rational thought. Fly safe, Die hard |

Personally I think the idea of having a limited area of your ship that you can explore/use is more interesting than the CQ/Establishment idea. Add to that the ability to dock with other ships out in space and walk through doors into different looking spaceship environments would be frankly pretty pimp in my opinion.

I vote no on boarding parties lol
Thats how the Goons (in the disguise of a group called Starfleet Dental) turned STO from a largely PVE game with a bit of PVP into a open PVP game for a short period of time. It was funny to watch the GMs too. I realize what you are saying... "establishments" does not necessarily mean a multiplayer Avatar based environment.
All that I can say is that previous descriptions when mentioned in a variety of blogs (etc.) have referred to them directly in connection with conversations about multiplayer environments.
As we know however, with anything related to video games plans can change. We will just have to wait for a specific blog related to this. Considering the slowdowns for many associated with the single player environments I would not doubt that they will have to be very careful how they impliment the multiplayer environments and be fairly picky about what you can and cannot do until they get things working more smoothly. Thus, the blog won't come out until they have some certainty about what will be available upon initial release of those environments. ===== The world will not end in 2012, however there will be a serious nerf to Planetary Interaction. |

I myself am a little boggled by your post. Maybe if my questions have been answered a long time ago, you would be so kind as to make a link to the answers from CCP. (I keep seeing people post that my questions have been answered, but nobody seems to back up their statements with any proof)
Here are my questions again... WHEN will we get a multiplayer station environment?
Will these 'establishments' mean I can walk through the station and enter another player's shop and interact with him....?
My thanks in advance for actualy posting some proof. ----- Jint Hikaru - Miner / Salvager / Explorer / SpaceBum In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move |

Edited by: Vincent Athena on 02/09/2011 21:08:05 Then there is the question of what the establishments are. One idea I saw in an interview with CCP was they would be replacements for station services presently being offered by NPCs. Like ship repair or labs. But I can access those right now without even loading CQ, much less by walking to an establishment. I sure do not want to have to have the process slowed down. This replacing NPC services with player establishments is a nice addition to the sandbox, it does not foster player face to face interactions.
Another idea is bars where you can gamble with other players. That sounds like a good one.
Another is a place where you can buy booster ingredients or booster limited run reactions, all contraband. I once posted an idea for this: The establishment owner bribes the station management (could be with Aurum) to look the other way and an NPC shows up in his bar. Anyone can use that NPC to buy contraband stuff for ISK. Some portion of the sale (an amount set by the establishment owner, resulting in competition between owners) is kicked back to the owner. The buyer then has to get the ingredients or reactions to a POS for booster production, getting past bloodthirsty players taking the place of customs.
