Edited by: Karia Sur on 01/09/2011 16:09:58 Could you please explain what on earth possessed you to mess about with opening the cargoholds of ships? It opens in the reset position so you move/resize it. Change ship and then change back to the original ship, and lo and behold its reset again.
Why?
EDIT: just tried this with a hangar full of ships and its not doing it with everyone of them.

This new API System is wonderful, oh except the part where no software supports it yet, surely you might've considered giving the people who develop some of the more popular 3rd party apps a headsup so their software is ready for it, oh and if you try to enter a legacy key in, you now no longer can find your user ID that goes with the legacy key, so can't even use them in the meantime.
Poor preparation there CCP work with your fansites and 3rd party developers =]

Only they did get a heads up one or two months ago.

your new feature to switch ships without the session change is already bugged, it offline some mods dependently from which ships you came from
totally worth 3 months works

Having the same offlining of modules problem too. Only on certain ships, it seems to offline them when I change out of them so when I go back I have to online them all again.

Ingame fix: -no session timer on changing ships while docked
Ingame break: -Switching ships with the fitting window open is randomly offline modules. Lazy dock workers are being interrogated. -Warping to missions using the right click in space menu is not working. Workaround is to relog in space using the ship you wish to do the mission with. -Cargo window is opening after using a jump gate. -Cargo icon next to the ship's wheel will open but not close the cargo hold. Workaround is to close the cargo hold using the cargo hold's window.
Keep it up I'd say.

Anyone knows what has been included into additional patch which eve client suggested to install after patching to Incarna 1.1? Normally there would be a link to appropriate patch notes but this time I haven't noticed any. |

Its fairly obvious that this is yet another update which has been rush released before it works. Any denial by you (CCP) is falling on deaf ears, because some of these bugs are as subtle as a house brick falling on your head.
2 minutes testing would have picked up some of these. Therefore that either says a) you know about them but still went ahead with the release, or b) you did no testing.

Many ships passing through jumpgates are instantly visible. DURING the gatecloak time. They can be approached, but cannot be targeted for the gate cloak period.
Let's kill us some cloaky lokis!!!

I am guessing CCP testing amounts to compile + scripts ... no humans actually look at the damn thing.

I'm so freaking livid I can't see straight. You would have thought you would have learned 3 months ago when you started this sh%*. Hell, I even let my sub lapse for 2 months till you fixed it.
Now - among the crap that you still haven't fixed, your introducing more broke Sh*t. Matari turrets look like (if you see them at all) black rocks next to a target. I have to dock, leave ship, re-enter ship just to FREAKING LOAD DIFFERENT AMMO.
I don't know who your graphic artists and programmers are, but honestly- if you'd tune in to the ppl that work their asses off all day and then come home to have a little fun, this crap might work better. There isn't any fun to be had here now as you can't trust the system - want to warp to a fight, better dock first and wait another freaking 15 minutes for CCP to let you change ammo and online your guns. Course, you won't see the FREAKING things anyone even if they are online.
Tell the dumbshi*** graphic designer to fix the damn turrets when you patch this crap. This is typical CCP dumb **** - why we expected it to get better I'll never know.
Get your asses in gear and fix this NOW.

You know, usually when you come to a forum and read rants like this, your first thought is: "Someone forgot to take his medicine."
CCP really managed to reeducate me on this. I can take these rants at face value, and actually expect the reality of the patch's fail to exceed these claims by far.

Then again.. a random notice for an emergency shutdown of the servers just now.. PATCH FAIL!
Oh.. and did anyone else notice that suddenly GPUs are running hot? This patch taxed my graphics so hard I'm suddenly down to low/none across the board with a new GeForce 8400 graphics card.. which was doing really really really well till the patch.
Thanks CCP for costing me another couple hundred to get decently playable graphics that don't crash my entire system... I love Eve.. HATE how CCP runs it.. I think they need to sell it already before they lose the entire customer base. :|

Yea, I was a bit disheartened to see that shutdown message flash up so had to bail for the starbase ASAP. I am a programmer and system admin by profession and it's amazing how lassez-faire things are at CCP with regard to testing and launches. I don't know if they just release when they 'feel like it' or if there is any sort of feature-freeze and release qualification. EVE Online needs a bug tracker .. better yet make it open source so some real coders can lend a hand and squash bugs.

Good idea. CCP has failed hardcore, honestly, I don't see where they are taking this game anymore, they are killing it more and more, bit by bit.
I mean, lets take their latest major release.. Captain's Quarters - who uses them? Who likes them? Who thinks they aren't a complete waste of time and the power they suck form our CPUs to have?
But.. that is what CCP wants, not the gamers who pay for the game.

On behalf of Red Frog, thank you CCP for the contract api. It is working great for us, although as I mention in the following thread: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1563418&page=1#22 , we really would like to be able to call the contract api more often than each hour. At least we would like to be able to pull a list of contracts that have recently changed status more often. Red Frog Freight Service -

Edited by: Hard1234 on 02/09/2011 07:59:39 I never wright any complaints untill now. After every patch everything worked exept a few little problems like monitor stay dark after alt tab ing out of the game or no warp tunnel effects. But those didn't affect gameplay so there wasn't any reason for complaining, but now there is...
I live in a cl2 wh. Before this patch and before I was gone to holiday I was getting 3 or 4 (sometimes more) nanoribbons out of 3 sleeper sites. Now I'm lucky to get 1 ribbon from 3 sites.
I wonder why you (CCP) nerf wh? Ribbons harwesting are rason for many people to stay in the wh. If it stay this way many people will leave wh's, myself included.
I'm sorry if this is duplicat.

I like CQ. No, they are not waste of time bcs they are just a beggining. Wait until they implement rest of the racial quouters and rest of the interior of the stations.

When are CCP going to fix all the bugs in the main gameplay? Yet another release which has NO effect on gameplay except to introduce another load of bugs. Why is this release 1.1 from 1.0.1 I would rate this release as 1.0.0.5.

LOL
New patch, more broken functionality. Not satisfied with breaking the Ctrl key functionality, now random dumb**** like cargo holds opening, ships decloaking during "safe" timers and once again pilot skills not being added to a ship's stats prior to boarding.
Do you guys even have a list of core functionality to test before releasing crap?
Pro-tip: If you work on a feature - say ship swapping in stations - maybe have a few people actually test that it works with lots of real ship setups that push the limits of fittings. ___________________________________
