Edited by: MeBiatch on 02/09/2011 20:45:21 change the scan probe mechanics so that a ship within 500 km of a station, outpost, stargate, and player owned station cannot be warped too...

well if you do that might as well increase the max target range too. whats the point in being able to shoot past 250 km if you cant target that far because of broken game mechanics?

Or add a anchorable howling buoy (or whatever to name it) that acts as a default center for any scan results in the same grid. So sniping fleet sets up the buoy and snipes away, while the opposing fleet first needs to pop the buoy before they can warp to the snipers via scan result. Should require fuel or something and restrictions for only one per grid. --------

Don't you use defensive dictor bubbles to protect snipers from probers? I thought this was a dictor's job. It was last time I was sniping. But then again, I haven't done it for nearly 36 hours now, perhaps sniping has changed. |

how about your fc learns how to fc and pays attention to whats going on?
or
how about you learn how to fc a sniper fleet and pay attention to the direction scanner.
it seems you have a problem with people warping in on your fleet. well, you probably should be aligned to something and when you see all the people landing on grid, that would be a good time to gtfo or bounce to another snipe point.

perhaps it will be like the "i was there video" where you need an inty to fly 150 km so you can warp to him... or get a covert ops and get real close then call in a warp... you know like you used to have to do before scan probes were boosted 2 years ago
