Hi all fellow eve entusiasts.
I am a returning player from years back. I was casual back then and just wanted to mine and haul. Now te result was a bad as miner but at the same time a jack of all trades. So I have alot of skills on lvl 4 but leveling them to lvl 5 seems daunting.
No I have 3 remaps available to my character and what I want to know is to get the maximum effect from my attributes is how to divede the remap. :)
I have tried to search for my answer, but all the "guides" I find is a year or 3 old. So I am not sure they are still valid. (?)
I was thinking (just as an example) Maximizing memory, get the memory skills done etc. I am not to concerned with time, not a hardcore player here, just want to get some of the skills to lvl 5 quicker.
So if we use the memory example. Should I keep the memory skill high and the secondary atribute as low as possible? High? What is the deal? :)
Thanks in advance,
Elaaks

Edited by: Shayla Sh''inlux on 03/09/2011 11:13:38 Since you have 3 remaps available, what you want to do is this:
Pick the skills you want to train, the ones you want to get to 5 especially. Sort them by catagory (ie, Engineering, Drones, Gunnery etc.) and add up the ranks (ie, Battleship is rank 8, Engineering only rank 1). Don't confuse ranks with levels; ranks tell you how long a skill takes the train - the higher the longer. Then take note of the PRIMARY requirement of those skills. As a ballpark guideline, you'll find this:
Gunnery/Missiles/Ships - Perception Engineering/Electronics/Science - Intelligence Industry/Drones - Memory Leadership/Corp Management/Trade - Charisma
Use your first remap to MAX the primary attribute of the skillcategory you want to train the most total ranks in. You can (and probably should) sink the remaining points in the secondary attribute, although the effect of this is insignificant. This should give you 27 in the primary and 21 in the secondary. The rest will be at 17. Train skills in that catagory for as long as you need or want.
Use your second remap to MAX the primary of another skillcategory you want to do a lot of training in. Put the rest in the secondary again. Train those skills for as long as you need or want.
Now, after using your third remap, you won't be able to use another remap for a year. So either you can repeat the first two steps for yet another skill catagory (and people that want to maximize the skillpoints tend to do so), but if you don't really have a full year of skilltraining planned in one attribute configuration, you should probably go for a "generic" approach. Generally speaking, putting 7 points in each of intelligence and perception gives the best return, as like 80% of the skills in the game have either of those as primary attribute.
Just remember the two rules of Eve training: * Perception is God, Intelligence is Jesus. The rest is Roaches. * The secondary attribute of a skill has very minor impact on the skill training time and can for all intents and purposes be ignored if you're not maximizing your skillpoints per hour.

One small thing, did not want to create a new topic for this.
Each account has 3 slots for characters. Can I have 3 characters that train at the same time or will one be training while the others are "offline" ? :)

Only one character per account can train at a time.

Also you can use Evemon utility to set a plan for what you wish to learn, and it suggest attributes setup for it.
