No one cares how much CCP alts have spent......
CCP alts don't have that much ISK to spend, only getting enough to cover a monocle and boots.
he seems to be bitter...probably something to do with his lack of in game funds to buy "elitist pig" items

Edited by: Ishtanchuk Fazmarai on 04/09/2011 08:41:23 Edited by: Ishtanchuk Fazmarai on 04/09/2011 08:40:30 Since the appearence of the NEx I have bought myself 2x Pirate Faction BS for a combined cost of some 1.8 billion ISK.
Whereas for the same price, I could have dressed my main and both my alts, provided there was the appropiate stuff (some Sisi items still haven't been released).
So, to keep this short, no, I have not bought from the NEx, not because I can't, but because I find the prices outrageously high compared to the reward they provide. Their cost>fun factor is crap because there's too much cost for the fun. Maybe that may change if CCP, miraculously, manages to deliver Incarna without lighting issues; but I am very skeptycal since our crappy CQ was called "final" and so far they just did something - what?- to the screens and menus rather than fix the lighting.
And anyway adding more "fun" -in the unlikely event they don't spoil it with lighting issues- still will keep the stuff horribly overpriced for something we already have paid for.
The NEx would be fun if we could as much as play fashion victims without opening wide our c.c. or sacrifice spaceships fun for it. With the curent prices, NEx stuff can be split into two tiers:
- ludicrously overpriced for the people who cares - perfectly priced for the people who doesn't gives a damn of it

No I have not. Yes, I can afford to buy out the store if I wanted to. I'd rather give the money to a crackhead lying in the gutter though than spend it on imaginary space clothes.
0% chance I will ever purchase anything from the Nex store.

To quote an article on Incarna this months PC Gamer:
'Items can only be worn when standing alone in your quarters. It's the Eve equivalent of all dressed up with nowhere to go'.
I'm guessing that basement dwellers can identify with this concept.

Edited by: Tippia on 04/09/2011 11:54:28 No, because they're horribly designed (as in ôdrawnö ù the lack of aesthetics is glaring), horribly designed (as in ômodelled in 3Dö ù they have clipping errors and exposed back surfaces ffs!), and serve no purpose until Incarna is released.
àand even then, they fail at even basic MT pricing strategy, and I see no reason to encourage such failure. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡ you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki

When the gaming review establishments that have long defended eve now call out ccp's blatent profit whooring the end is not long in coming.
Eve's success is much like a countrys currency. Once the belief in it dies so does the game.

Nope. Never will. Even if they finally hire real designers with an aesthetic sense, I'll refuse in memory of how they initially insulted my senses with their first offerings.

Not yet, although I bought some stuff using buy orders at around 10M.
I would buy something if it that does not look like the military threw it away because it was too bland. Prices need to drop as well - my pain threshhold is around 100M I guess, although something very good looking might tempt me to spend more. It's not an issue of having the money, I simply don't feel like spending too much.

I agree to a point. They do need some modelling work, for sure. And we need a ton more diversity than what's up right now. But I do rather like the designs that are out now, I just think it's hard to appreciate them when it all looks so same-y. ______________________

Most likely never...I can't really see a point in time where I would want to spend any more time in station than absolutely necessary.
However, I respect the right of those of us who choose to purchase vanity items to do so.
I have a dream...a dream where CCP uses the "vast" income they derive from selling e-panties to bring us better space ship content...it's a dream...please don't hit me with any negative vibes man!
