It's a holiday weekend in the US, over 40k on the server. You have three null sec incursions and one high sec. I'm seeing over 700 in "BTL PUB", 400 in the incursion tab, who knows how many in "BTL ARMOR".
I just wanted to say, whoever decided to limit the number of incursions during peak server times is really awesome. Not as awesome as "aurum", mind you, but pretty close.
CCP rocks.

May want assign some of the "blame" to those who killed the Amarr mom last night. As well as to those who killed the Gallente mom just a couple of days after that incursion began.
Please do not interpret to the above statement to imply that I am ignoring CCP's many transgressions against their ever-grateful player-base

And now there are none.
According to the friendly and always helpful CCP GMs. This is by design.

It sounds like you need to take a roadtrip to nullsec.

You do realize that according to CCP's design plan, there would be none except for short 2-3 hour burst every day or two, right? It isn't CCP's design plan that incursions last for days, its an agreement by members of the community to not form MOM fleets.

All the highsec incursions went into "withdrawing" and as such, the moms were popped or the LP goes to waste.
And, once again, you should have seen the carebear QQ in the chat channels when the loot got ninja'd from them for the billionth time running (you'd think they would, I don't know, also put someone on the hull with an optimised overview when it popped, but no).
"CCP needs to make it so only the winning fleet can loot the wreck!!" oh please.
BTW there are still 3 up ... it's your own fault that you're too scared of nullsec to head out and run them, not CCPs.

Thanks for the responses. Just one more comment.
My OP was concerned with a gaming mechanic that--in my view--is flawed. It isn't compensating for the additional players that are participating/churning through these incursions. I'm suggesting the spawn rates should be faster.
The responses seem to be more concerned with a desire to see more people PvPing in low/null sec.
The nice thing about incursions is it gives those of us--who don't have much time to play the game--a chance to meet others who are more active in low and null sec. We get to see FCs who know what they're doing (yes, I know some are better than others), and learn how to fleet. We make enough ISK to afford some ships, and we make road trips with the new people we've met. There is a incursion community killboard. I would imagine some who are making the road trips find new homes. For those of you low/null corps who are recruiting, it's a great place to find potential corp-mates who are learning the game.
Best wishes to everyone. Cheers.

*grins* - I looted the Amarr one here the other day ... sold the loot for 2.1 b isk, nightmare BPC + true sansha heavy neut (props to those to bought them!). Everything donated to the BTL PUB replacement fund. Also paid out 300 m to 2 pilots who lost their basis.
Yes, life is good!
