Hello all,
The next mass test will take place on Thursday, September 8 and is highly focused on fixes to the Mac Client. Full details are available in this news item and we hope to see as many of you there as possible.

Bravo! Good to see mac issues being specifically addressed. Thanks for fixing the jukebox btw. I know I complain a lot, but it's just because I love this game. If I didn't I would just stop playing!

Except that IMO that page could use some work. As I was writing this, I did figure out what they meant in step 1.
Maybe it just has not been updated for Lion but the system preferences commands don't match what is on that page.
I made an rtf but then when I went to submit a bug report I could not get it to let me upload two files, my system description and my cider log file. Did I miss something or are we supposed to make a single zip of both files?
Regarding the cider log section I was very confused why after starting Terminal you then navigate in finder. I think something along the lines of "Use Finder to navigate to /Applications/Utilities and then run the terminal utility by starting Terminal" would be clearer.
Anyway, the way things are going I went ahead and created a shell file to automate it so I still get one click launching of EVE.
#!/bin/bash
NOW=$(date +"%Y%m%d_%H%M%S") FILE="$HOME/Desktop/EVE_CIDER_$NOW.log" TRACKSTARTSTOP="$HOME/Desktop/EVE_CIDER_LOG.txt" ### adapted from http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Mac_Bug_Reporting September 5, 2011
cd /Applications/EVE\ Online.app/Contents/MacOS echo "Start $NOW" >> $TRACKSTARTSTOP ./cider -debugmsg +seh,+tid,+module,+debugstr &> $FILE echo "Stop $(date +"%Y%m%d_%H%M%S")" >> $TRACKSTARTSTOP ### Once the bug has been reproduced, ZIP the EVEcrashlog.log file and upload the zipped copy to the bug report.

OK, I think I followed most of your work. If i see it correctly, that will start the TQ version (Or a client named "EvE Online.app") so one would have to change the name of the app, to whatever their SiSi client is named, or am I mistaken?
