what are you planning to manufacture? T1 stuff? T2? T3? mods? ships?
PE5 is the basic for anything anyway, so start that and do some research on which way you want to go on.. |

In the short term, getting Mass Production 4 unlocks Supply Chain Management, which lets you start/finish manufacturing jobs remotely.
In the long term, I recommend reading this thread: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=98241
Find a niche where you can make some isk, then expand when you have the skills to do so. Being a manufacturer will take time to get the skills. In the meantime, you can still make isk making modules and ammo. Check out your regional hubs to see what sells. |

Thanks Guys!
I'm working in PE5 now, takes some time! I was wondering another thing: Is it possible to combine manufacturing with another career? And if so, what would you recommend? I was thinking research, to eventually manufacture more valuable stuff... |

You can combine anything with anything else you want. This is EVE.
Manufacturing generally implies research, trade, and hauling, but they are not a requirement. |

Manufacturing can be fairly passive. Depending on what you build and with what kind of money backing you up, you can easily fill up your manufacturing slots for a month and not care about them until they finish.
So yes, plenty of time to do other things on the side. It's The Legendary Extraordinary Me |
