Pretty much true. When I got my first carrier back in May or April the very first thing I did (after undocking and thinking "holy crap this ship is huge") was warp it to the middle of the 6VDT sun with neuts in local, because I wanted to see how long it takes a carrier to decelerate after getting all intimate with the sun.
It takes a very long time.
That is pretty much all anyone needs to know about TEST.
(FYI, I'm planning on doing the same thing when I get my Super next year... just with no neuts this time.)
edit: the 4-07 meatgrinder a few months back was also a pretty amusing fight as well |

Being an HBC member for a couple of months now, I can support that general TEST membership seem to find anything and everything funny, win or lose. I'm not sure if they really love Eve that much, are really drunk and / or high all the time, or just got dropped on their heads a lot as children. But either way, there seems to be an almost unnatural jovial quality to anything and everything they do.
It's kind of like playing with an overly friendly dog. EVERYTHING is it's favourite thing in the world to do and they do it with almost extreme levels of enthusiasm and excitement.
Noobship roam! MY FAVOURITE THING!!! Welpcanes! MY FAVOURITE THING!!! Drake fleet! MY FAVOURITE THING!!! Structure shoot! MY FAVOURITE THING!!! Sov grind! MY FAVOURITE THING!!! Foxcats! MY FAVOURITE THING!!! Long meatgrind CTA! MY FAVOURITE THING!!! Suicide mission we won't return from! MY FAVOURITE THING!!!
Honestly, with the number of jaded, bitter vets that we seem to encounter in Eve all the time, that's kind of refreshing seeing people so enthusiastic about pretty much everything. It certainly makes things a lot more fun, even though it's a bit scary at times. People were constantly telling me I was crazy. For a long time I didn't believe them, but after a while, I started to think they might be right.
But it turns out that they were all wrong. One of the voices in my head is a psychiatrist and he says I'm perfectly sane. |

It's probably a fair mix of all of the above. For the most part, anything that allows me to stick it to -a- is MY FAVORITE THING. That and welping. |

I have to agree with that, the soco however is the opposite and why it is dead I'm sure. Also the southern alliances only care about how to make ISK for the top 1%, while you guys care to spend ISK and trickle the profits down to their member-base. |

Heavily confirmed. My character is from 2007 but I was inactive for a majority of the time. When I joined TEST in April 2011 I had about 100 million isk to my name after I liquidated my hisec assets. Today I have four accounts, two carriers, and enough isk to purchase a supercarrier hull if I were to liquidate my market stock and pull my secured investments out early. Next year I'll have a character up to snuff to join the supercapital group. :unsmith:
In K-6 alone I have six battleships fully fit and ready to throw into the meatgrinder against -a- should the need arise. |

Inquisitor Kitchner wrote:Pinky Starstrider wrote: This is misleading and seems to fall in line with The Mittani's propaganda. The NCDOT leadership have timed their SOV for the weakest timezone that GSF and pets have. However they are more than willing to fight the War at all times. Everyday there is fleets throughout all the timezones, big fleets, small fleets, all looking to shoot stuff. Be it against GSF or SOLAR, it doesn't matter we just like to shoot things.
The AUTZ thing is a crutch, and it is an easy crutch to lean on. The numbers do not lie, even if 95% of your available pilots are in fact NA TZ, why is it that your largest fleet in 2 weeks was around 400 people, and why did that fleet stand down twice against a fleet half its size.
Umm if you're willing to fight in any time zone, and you're looking for ~gudfites~ why move the TZ to the AU TZ? Don't be ashamed of fighting in another timezone because you think you'll perform better if your enemy can't bring it's numbers, as I said it's a perfectly valid tactic and I'm not knocking it, just be honest about the fact that it's the tactic you're using, it saves a lot of time imo.
I did admit it, it is why I brought it up. Mr. Raiden. was complaining that GSF and HBC were ruining the game with blobs. I cited the moving of the timers to AUTZ by DOTBROS as a way to make numbers meaningless.
I said that using it to explain away your NATZ short comings is a crutch. Which it is. You are losing pilots because you don't do anything during that TZ, same with your EU TZ which is why DOTBROS fight SOLAR in the EUTZ, because they actually do ****.
Quote:Does this mean that I'm sitting on my hands and not PvPing more then say.... 6 weeks ago? Yeah.
Why you don't do anything in these time zones is beyond me, but hey thats your guys thing and it seems to be working for you slowly. When you do do something you whelp it, or you stand down (even if you have the numerical advantage). These things are demoralizing to your common pilot, your FC's, and your Leadership.
and its not just your EU and US TZ's that are affected, it is your AUTZ as well, which was claimed by the Mittani to be highly capable, decently stocked (at least compared to DOTBROS numbers) and well FC'd. This was said in August.
Quote:'We actively went out of our way to develop an Australian time zone presence with alliances like Convicted, in order to be able to counter this.'
'One of the things that's extremely rare in Australian time zone is having bloc-level FCs. There's probably only about 15 bloc-level FCs in the entire game, and I know one who's an Australian that I would trust with a 250 man fleet. When we found Tradik...it was like a gift from God because I'm like I have a guy in Australian time zone who can actually organize the few people and the night owls and the crazy Euros who got up early or whatever into a fighting force.'
'I think Convicted can do between 80 and 120 [AU TZ].'
Yet 2 months later the AUTZ is not working, it lacks leadership, and numbers?
Yes we moved timers to target limited numbers, yes it is working as intended, at the same time your loss of supercaps, your constant whelps, your apparent lack of leadership, and stagnation in the SOV grind are all impacting the numbers evidenced numerous times by no form ups, stand downs, non-engaging fleets.
I am not arguing who is beating who in the war, really I don't care, I just want to shoot at stuff when I play SOV is meaningless to me, blowing other peoples **** up, that is the game for me. I am simply refuting arguments made by another poster who claimed that there is nothing anyone can do to numbers fielded by GSF and HBC. Simply pointing out the contrary.
-A- did not do these things. They did not redeploy timers for weaker timezones, they were unable to slow the advance of HBC through numerous political errors conflicting with potential progress. In stead they folded faster than a bad poker hand. Which instilled more pride and passion in the HBC which kept their numbers high across all TZ's.
As for HBC, I am sure they are having fun and PL is steering the ship in a positive direction. TEST is supplying the mates, and PL the leadership. It is a very effective coalition in that regard, and it is easy to say Id fleet up no matter what, when you are able to sit on a high horse, it is really impossible to provide an accurate opinion however if you are on that horse. |

As a point of order when do you think our timers are? Trust me they aren't 2300 ST
Fact is TEST alone is the size of -A-, En Guarde, and ROL ...before unclaimed...plus a herd of pets.
They are pulling 3:1 numbers at 10:00am EDT US. To date, we have lost 1 system, despite the numbers and giving them three months to settle in.

How long have we been on the offensive against you since taking Querious? We've spent the past month or two taking care of our own back yard and getting our finances in order. How many fleets assaulted Catch with the goal of taking sov during that timeframe? None. Whenever we ventured into 4-07 it was to sit on your undock and shoot at bads, or general harassment - much like the kind of fleets -a- currently sends into Delve and Querious.
How long have we been on the offensive against you since taking Querious? A handful of days. In those days, we have taken your old staging system, and waggled 46 supercarriers on your GE- undock to show everyone how impotent you are. We can do whatever we want in Catch, and I dare you to stop us. Systems are already falling, and we've only been doing this for a handful of days.

Your general harassment fleets get farmed religiously. Look at your killboards.
