If I use +9 Run decryptors for invention, seeing as how the max no. runs is 10, is there any point in making max-copy BPCs? |

For T2 rigs 1-run copies are fine.

It takes way too long to make a max run rig copy.

Tau Cabalander wrote:Also note that it takes a long time to copy a max run rig BPC compared to a one run BPC, so ME-1 is more time efficient if you are making your own copies, as it doesn't require a max run BPC. A max run BPC is also a lot more costly to create (lab time) or buy than a one run BPC.
Hence ME-1 would be my choice, unless I found a dirt-cheap source of max run BPC. |

Invention Output Runs = MIN(MAX(ROUND_DOWN( (Input_T1_BPC_Runs / T1_Max_Runs_Per_Blueprint_Copy) * (T2_Max_Runs_Per_Blueprint_Copy / 10) + Decryptor_Runs_Bonus), 1), T2_Max_Runs_Per_Blueprint_Copy)
May be of interest to you.

if you want to stick it into a spreadsheet (open office here.) to play with the numbers. When using this kind of blueprint, a max run copy will give you an additional run, with a number changing decryptor. Things are a little different when you're using a different kind of blueprint.
Very short version:
a single run BPC will give you a 9 run copy with a +9 copy decryptor, for rigs. FuzzWork Enterprises http://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/ Blueprint calculator, invention chance calculator, isk/m3 Ore chart-á and other 'useful' utilities. |

Vincent Aalfur wrote:... is there any point in making max-copy BPCs? No. The formula (see Steve's post) produces a 1-run T2 BPC no matter what number of runs was in the T1 BPC (at least for every rig I've come across). Only the decryptor changes the results.
