Is there a way to put in music that I actually want to hear instead of listing to whats already in the jukebox?

i had my mp3's working two patches ago.
i just had to go in and rip out the id3 tags of each file.
and in a nut shell to get this to work you have to create a couple folders in the res file res/Sound/Music of your eve install. put all the music you want to hear in game in to that folder. use winamp to create a play list. call it inflight. if you want to change the music for the login simply create a playlist called login. i personly recomend linkinpark - sessions for the login =)
and here is the eve-i artical link for thoughs who can not find it
http://www.eve-i.com/article.php?id=20 just cut and past that in to your web browser

Playing radiochannels in your winamp do work. My personal favourite channel playing Eve is www.digitallyimported.com, a european trance/house site with 8 different channels, all from hard trance to classical music. Check it out...the trance channel works well with the eve universe...

Hey Griss, coincidentally, I also used Session for the login. It fits SO damn perfectly with the rotating EVE logo =)

Yea, just go add on to Mulligan, if you want different stations just goto Shoutcast.com, or winamp.com and select the radio button. ___________________________________

No, its not strange at all. That's because you have to MAKE those two folders. Sound and Music , respectively. Put it all in the music folder. ___________________________________

Not that I'm aware of. What's so hard about moving the files anyway? ___________________________________

Well I followed Griss's directions to the T and all i seem to get is a corrputed file name list in jukebox and the same dull music. Even though I hate winamp i ven installed it to make the playlist, guess I'll just keep the stereo cranking since eve doesnt want to cooperate, btw does anyone know the locations of these stupid songs they keep playing? i would realy love to delete them from teh system as I cant stand them. Any help as to their location would be greatl appreciated. thx :)

Wow really old topic you're ressurected.
Might I suggest turning your music off in Eve if it bothers you so much. --------------------------------------------- If someone says wait for the light to turn green before crossing the street, you donÆt step out into traffic and get wtfpwnÆd do you? |
