Hey, I wanted to know if any of you could help me, because I missed some of the tutorial. I got up to the information on the corps when I accidently un- docked. I tried to repeat the whole tutorial, but it did not work after I re- docked. First of all, how much did I miss? Can any of you tell me what I did miss? Also, is it imperitave that I start a new character, or is what I missed not that important? I started to do the mission and am currently on the fifth one. Thanks for all your help.

If ure gonna do missions it's quite important as your tutorial agent introduce's you to another agent to work for.
Apart from that you missed nothing.

No it's not a mistake, you can work for whoever you want to, thats the beauty of the game.
Most mission runner's pick a corp that relates to their character, i.e Amarr characters work for Amarrian corp.
If your goal is to do missions to earn faction ships, or to do reseach projects just pick the corp that give's these items and away you go.

Ok, so who should I work for? I am Caldari and Clavie. I am trying to be a warrior. Who would be the best agent and when should I talk to him? Also, where and when do you fight? Thanks.

Caldari Navy has some nice kill missions.
On the lefthandside of your screen, you'll notice the People&Places button, do a search on Corporation and enter [caldari navy]. In the new window, click the blue info button and another window pops up (EVE seemsto have more windows then belts :P).Select the Agents tab and click on either Internal Security or Security, this opens a list of available and not available agents, select your favorite and have fun....

The tutorial agent recommended me to Kazaka Uoraa on Sobaseki X- Moon 15- Caladari Provisions Warehouse. Should I use that agent or do what you said?

Its much better to choose a different corp to work for.
Oosha has said some of this already but I'll give you my mini agent finding guide...
> Open your character sheet and go to the standings tab > liked by tab.
> Look under faction for Caldari State and click the blue thing to get info.
> Go to the "member corps" tab and you'll see all the corps that belong to the Caldari faction.
> Choose one and look at the agents tab, this shows you every agent for that corp, divided into the ones available and unavailable to you. Click info on one that is unavailable to you and look at his info and it will tell you what standing you require to use him.
> You'll see the agents are also divided into divisions. If you're looking for mostly kill missions, you'll want to use a Security or Internal Security agent. Caldari Navy, as mentioned by others, will have the most Security agents but other corps have them too.
Thats how to find an agent. If you right-click an agent, you can set your autopilot from there, so you can jump to the map screen and see how many jumps away he is.
Consider training social to level 3 and then training the Connections skill as this will give a significant increase to your standings.
Hope this helps.

Actually, it may be worth it to fly back to that (first) agent recommended by the tutorial (Kazaa Ulora?), and do the 10 missions she asks of you. It's only 10 missions, but at the end you get awarded 1.0 faction with your race (Caldari State). It's a lot of work otherwise to get +1.0 (but it can be done), and +1.0 opens up a lot of other Caldari agents for you right off the bat.
Then, afterwards, you can search for another agent in a corporation that interests you.
The tutorial itself, you didn't miss anything. Just feel free to ask us about things you don't understand about the game; these boards are full of help. There's also a Help channel newbies can join ingame to ask questions.

Brej, once you finish the tutorial, you get a mail referring you to a level 1 agent, the Caldari Provisions one in this case.
I looked up Blade's info ingame and he's got his 1.00 Caldari standing already, so he's ready to choose a corp to work for.

finding and choosing a nearby agent that appeals to your gamestyle and is the best you can get with your current standings is critical to having fun as an agent runner.
i would seriously recommend everyone complete the 1st agent's tutorial missions. the 1.0 faction standing is outstanding and helps you gain access to ANY lvl 1 agent of that faction.
