As per request of our employer.
Firstly the report.
Contract has been extended by 1 week.
Losses to and from:
Jericho Fraction: 13 kills 3 Losses.
Omerta Syndicate: 9 Kills 1 Loss
Freelance Council: 4 Kills 0 Losses
Glamour Bunnies: 0 Kills 0 Losses
Tenex Inc: 0 Kills 0 Losses
Throne Worlds Church of Sin and Absolution: 1 Kill 2 Losses
The Tarsis Shriners: 2 Kills 0 Losses
MetaForge: 0 Kills 0 Losses
Ushra'Khan entered the fray.
As surprised as we were for Ushra's involvement, we accepted the war declaration with an open mind.
69 Kills 7 Losses
1 Ushra Khan Corp have since surrendered the war that they declared, and left the alliance.
On Sunday 27th another war declaration was received, this time from MASS corp. We are unsure to the reasons for the involvement, but never th eless welocme the war declaration with an open mind. Tonight was our first engagement with MASS. We lost 16 ships to 6 in our first engagement. Due to massive malfunction in the operations of our vessels, and theirs we are led to believe, the battle was one of attrition. We look forward to righting these statistics in the very near future.
Mass:
11 Kills 22 Losses
And now a communication from our employer:
To The Star Fraction Alliance:
KIA have been legally hired under all laws of the mercenary guilds to serve the agenda of my organization. ISK is not a concern and KIA will remain in our employ until that agenda is met to our satisfaction. Other mercenary forces are also being contracted at this time to meet the inevitable outcome of this agenda. There is one way to avoid this current and soon to be escalating military pressure.
End your hostilities towards the Curatores Veritatis Alliance. Though not affiliated with the CVA in any form, my organization recognizes the Amarrian peoples right to exersize thier cultural rights as they see fit. The SFs audacity to impose their medling Gallentean cultural values on another race sickens us. Especially when that imposition is forced upon others in the form of an act of war.
We look forward to the next weeks fight, with our teeth bared and our claws sharpened.

Edited by: Jasmine Constantine on 28/03/2005 22:26:21 I'm a bit surprised to think the CVA needed merc help. They seemed to be doing pretty well on their own. This is quite an odd turn of events, but I guess in this current climate even the Curatores Veritatis Alliance need all the help they can get to promote their designs over the people of eve.
Wow. Interesting develop though and useful for you EddZ that your employer authorised a public notification.

I do not regard this as evidence CVA have hired KIA, Jasmine.
I believe the CVA when they say they will not use mercs against us.
As to the 'employer', if the SF campaign against CVA is his problem, why then has he taken out a separate contract against the GLB who are not party to the war, having left SF, and who, indeed, publicly opposed the war while they were in SF?

lol Cosmopolite I'm guessing the employer doesn't actually know a whole lot about thats happening in space. Lets face it CVA were kicking us pretty badly first few days and needed absolutely no help at all. And I'm guessing he or she thinks that Glamour Bunnies are our spies or something. All adds up to either the employer being a bit ill-informed or something funny going on.
I'm inclined to believe CVA if they say their hired no mercs but clearly someone thinks they needed help?
Maybe that Holder guy? (though I'd hope his spelling was a bit better tbh)

Oh, by the way, who said freespace was a Gallentean ideal?
Stereotypes. Maybe if they read about SF to understand us, rather than jumping to conclusions, they could nix the rapid categorizations. The corporations within the alliance each have their own (different) reasons for being apart of it.
But I'll save the debate for some other place and time.

As Kyoko said, we're not all Gallente, we don't all care about Gallente ideals or concepts. There's quite a bit of diversity over here, considering you have us, Omerta Syndicate, a very, very Caldari corporation, and Throne Worlds, a very Amarrian corporation...
Thus your "employer" (is he perchance Lord Plush?) needs to do his homework. Regardless, we'll continue, KIA or not.

Not suprising seeing they left the alliance a while ago, and became inactive (A whole 4 members). I must congratulate KIA on their top notch intelligence gathering.
Oh and I must add that CVA was getting more then 13 kills a day against Jericho at the start of the war. Maybe you should get them to teach you how to fight. --------------------------------------------------

What i find most ammusing is that the Ministry of Amarr Secret Service is indeed attacking a mercernary force that is defending the interest of the CVA (regardless at whose authority).
Surely an interesting question to be asked, will this change MASS's opinion on the mater?

First and Foremost.
The CVA by no means hired these mercenaries. As Jasmine has pointed out we needed no help in this little war, and whoever hired these mercenaries... is wasting his money. If he wished to help the war effort monetarily his money would have been better spent bringing respected and known groups to the CVA such as Graelyn's corporation by funding of the warcosts. Corporations not run by heathens and corporations that the CVA could actually have worked with.
Furthermore
I personally am incredibly insulted at this ploy. The CVA and the Amarr Empire can take care of itself and does not need help from mercenaries, anyone who says otherwise does not know us. If the KIA corporation wishes to field a Casus Bellei for their war on Star Fraction, that is there buisness. However, I personnally resent the implication presented here that the CVA needs, or wants in any way help from heathen mercenaries. So anyone who wants to question MASS' actions in helping the Star Fraction further can just leave the CVA out of it as I dont believe we really care what happens to some mercenary force.

Hilariously I think MASS are involved in the dispute to kinda save your honour mr Lok'ri because we hired them to smite KIA to stop those other mercs interfering in our private war. MASS are a decent bunch by all the stories I've heard are just the sort of pest exterminators to call then you need things done
For what its worth I believe you when you say you aren't behind this but I can't help but think its very funny that some CVA supporters out there are so terrified by us anarachists that they needed to reach into their isk wallets to bolster the Golden Fleet with caldari mercs for hire.

A further statement from our employer:
"As the current contractor of KIA, let it be known that we recognize the fact that the CVA does not wish and did not ask for help of any kind from our organization. KIA was not contracted to help the CVA militarily or politicaly. KIA was contracted to apply military pressure to an alliance that we feel is arrogantly imposing its values upon another culture and interfering where they are not wanted. The Star Fraction alliance claims to hold enough moral superiority to declare actual war upon another alliance over the issues concerning Amarrian culture?!? This disgusting arrogance has annoyed us to the point of putting our wallet behind our convictions. Nothing more, nothing less."

But the Amarrians have the moral superiority to impose their values on every race they met till the Jove smacked them down?
And our war with CVA was very little to do with Amarrian culture. It has to do with the actions of the CVA. This is not about slaves. If we wanted to fight against slavery we would have joined the U'K. This is about a paramilitary group, that claims to work on behalf of the Empire, exporting its out dated form of government into the frontier. The Star Fraction stands against all such expansion whether it be by the Empire, Federation, Republic, State or CONCORD. All are the same when you peel back the veneer of democracy, or tribal law, or religion. --------------------------------------------------
