Hey I have a question about the starter agents, I have tried searching through the help and wiki pages but never found the answer.
I was doing some of the Starter missions with the agents you get at the beginning ( Business - Exploration - Industry etc etc) However i got side tracked on other missions and doing other things, I am not sure if i have completed them or failed. When i try and start convo, they say "they have no jobs for me." I have 2.0 stance with all 5 agents, can anyone tell me have I failed them, or have I actually completed them? Hope you can understand what i mean,
Cheers |

There are only 10 missions per agent (for started agents) I believe. You most likely have them finished. and if they aren't finished, they're not too big of a deal. Worst case scenario, go to a different school and use their starter agents. |

I believe the Exploration one only contains 5. A basic one, the one for each site type. |

Keep in mind, once you finish with them...you are not going to *progress to the next step* You just no longer have your cart attached to the track and can do whatever you feel like. just dumped into the nothingness, so seeing as how you already got distracted, if you enjoyed those things, do not feel the need to go back and do the missions. If you want to then of course by all means, but its not a necessity. |

I think I was trying to be to big for my boots, If i finished a mission in another station, i just started a mission there if they offered one. I just go around all the stations and do the missions which are available to me lol. |

Hey. No, I only do the missions I feel I can win. Only missions I hate is picking up and dropping off, so boring! Also ruff if you need to go into 0.6 systems, the gates are normally surrounded with other ships and ship wrecks lol. |

There are different types of missions, mining missions, distribution (aka courier[akaka picking up and dropping off]) security (killing ****) and others. Stick with security if you want to PvE.
The missions are just pulled from an endless mission pool...you will repeat the same ones over and over forever. They are there for LP, ISK, and standings (also free mining belts) So don't feel rushed to complete them all. |

Yeah I am, they are the best anyway. I only do other missions if its good paying lol. Ohh could i ask. On the overview screen, some peoples names are highlighted Yellow. I heard someone say thats a security issue or something. I take it, its best to stay clear of those pilots? Thanks for answering my questions....its been a great help! :) Cheers |

(you can and will be killed anywhere in space) |

Ahh, I didnt know that. I thought if you were in somewhere like 1.0 you were safe/protected by the NPC police etc. |

CONCORD (npc police) are there to punish, not protect. They will show up and kill the person who attacks first,if that person hasn't escaped by then which is unlikely, but by that time you are dead already. |

.5 systems and higher are high security space, where concord will attack if players aggress each other that arent at war. (although people suicide gank) .4 to .1 is low security, where gate guns will fire at the person if they aggress you (on the gate obviously.) 0.0 systems are null sec, and completely lawless. just a tid bit of info |

Ah right ok. I have been flying around up in 1.0/0.9 without a care in the world. Just lucky I never got attacked. So attacking pilots in your own team or country, not sure what its referred too. I am Caldari, so attacking any Caldari pilots I will get shot down. |

Hahaha, I will remember that LOL! When do you actually go up a level? Do you need to manually do something, or is it done automatically. I just feel I have been doing tons of missions, but still the same level. |

Yes, good rule of thumb, if you attack anyone in .5 or higher space you will lose your ship to concord. The only exceptions are if the player is a pirate and "flashy red" on your overview. But they only come through highsec in fast shuttles (mostly) and are very hard to catch, and I wouldnt worry to much about that. The other exception is if a player owned corporation declared war on another player owned corporation, they can fire at each other only, without concord intervention. If you stay in a NPC corp, you cannot be wardecced and therefore are safe to everything but a suicide gank. |

You never level up, there are no levels in eve. You can skill up, make sure to keep some skills training AT ALL TIMES, most important not to waste your skill queue. going to lunch, ask questions in an hour :p |

I don't like the distributions either, however, when sometimes when you do some of series ones (5 in chain), there is typically a combat one in middle.
A good source for missions is the EVE Survial Guide. Sometimes it's nice to know what to shoot in what order. |

In missions, you have Level 1 - 5. How do I get access to the next level of mission? Do I need a certain Skill? I am currently doing all level 1 missions. Looking to get onto Level 2 missions?

As you do more missions you will gain standing with that corp, after so many missions you will get a storyline mission that will boost your faction standing. Higher standing will give you access to higher level missions. So simply, do more missions, and when you get a storyline mission (an npc will eve mail you for "help") do them. |

I am just thinking, on a few occasions I have received mail from an NPC asking for help and telling me to meet them at a location. Once I go to the location, it says "Not available to you" even when I try and start a convo it says, Sorry, but I only work with people I trust. They contact me, but still I cant do the mission? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks again, |
