Here's the blog of the miner bumping: http://www.minerbumping.com/
Earlier this year, one botter streamed his botting live online and CCP came by to bump him across the system: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=131485

I'm terrible too!
Scout: "They're burning back to the gate." FC: "Go for bumps on that Drake!" Xuixien: "Roger roger." FC: "... Xuixien, why are you 50km out?" Xuixien: "Oh, no wonder I'm missing all my shots!"
We shall improve together.
Ice is only found in 0.7 and below (I believe) so my sexy status shouldn't be too much of a problem.
I've also scouted a few .8 and .9 systems near Rens that are rather populated with mouthy, arrogant minerbears. It would be worth grinding my sexiness to put a hault to their presumptious rock munching in the "safety" of .9. Rabble Rabble!! Hmm, if someone pulled something similiar to this "bumping venture" in real life on me, there would be a fight right out of the box, I might get the worst of it (can't win em all), but i doubt they would want to "bump" me again.
Hopefully when the new killrights rules come out some people can be creative with it and provoke some npc corp members who like to play silly bully games into some real fun.
Now don't get me wrong, if a person if botting, hell yeah, bump em far and often. But if a person wants to sit around and mine a bit in highsec, I don't think they should be required to join someones' silly club. Probablly don't even have a clubhouse. |

Well WTF else you got to do when your mining? I dont think its unreasonable to possibly require a miner to actually be activly involved in the mining process....I mean really? So now actually piloting your ship to keep it close enough to the rock you are killing is too much work? |

You won't be able to just "put" a killright on someone.
You can put a bounty on them, but I doubt many miners will cough up the ISK to make it worthwhile to gank an SFI in HiSec, considering most miners would rather be bumped into oblivion than pay a measly 10mil.
Bounties won't affect me all that much. Oh no, my enemies will make money killing me - oh wait, that already happens because Faction Warfare. Everyone vs Everyone |

The issue is that people don't understand how internet spaceship dancing works. Its a cultural phenomenon that should be maintained - we should not impose our own values onto such a majestic and beautiful thing.
The fluid dance as a frigate rubs against a retriever, showing its affection and passion. Targeting the ship with desire as it repeatedly pushes the ship off course as love does to us all. Sparking a fire in the hear of all as it discharges round after round into the hull of the retriever, penetrating its cargo bay and relinquishing it of its juicy ore.
.... Its beautiful. |

Getting started in Miner Bumping is very easy. Here's a quick rundown;
You'll need a ship. The Stabber Fleet Issue is the est for this, but if you're cheap and/or unskilled, a Stabber will work fine. The basic fit includes a 10MN MWD, a couple of inertia stabs, a couple of overdrive injectors and perhaps a nanofiber internal structure if you feel like it. The rest should be shield tank or speed rigs. You'll need a place to go. Tolle and the surrounding two ice belt systems are where the New Order is currently based. Alternatively, Halaima and Kamio are ripe spots for tears, and you can bump in almost any ice system. Companions are good when you're bumping. Head to Tolle or bring your own. It makes the tears so much better. Standard bumping procedure: Tell the miner to buy a permit (10 million ISK). When he doesn't respond or refuses, bump him until he is out of range. If you want you can send a letter explaining why he was bumped and encouraging him to purchase a permit. Please don't bump miners who already have a permit (unless they're AFK). To certify that they have one, check their bio for a declaration of support for the New Order, and then ask them the name of the Agent that sold them the permit. If you can squeeze a 100MN MWD onto a SFI, it's really fun. AFAIK, the current record is somewhere around 130km for a mackinaw bump in a 100MN MWD.

.... Its beautiful. Dude, who uses a frigate for bumping?

Something like this should do:
[Stabber Fleet Issue, Miner Bumping 10MN - Kainotomiu] Inertia Stabilizers II Inertia Stabilizers II Inertia Stabilizers II Overdrive Injector System II Overdrive Injector System II Nanofiber Internal Structure II
10MN MicroWarpdrive II Medium Capacitor Battery II [empty med slot] [empty med slot]
Prototype Cloaking Device I [empty high slot] [empty high slot] [empty high slot] [empty high slot]
You should also put a shield tank on it (there's plenty of room) 'cause sometimes miners get it into their heads to try and shoot you. The capacitor battery isn't necessary, but I like having it so that I can pretty much just leave the MWD on when I'm slowboating back to the belt after a 200km bump sesh.
Edit: Oh, you edited your request for a fit. Ah well.

Good point, 200 km was perhaps an exaggeration, but there are circumstances where it's quicker to approach at 6km/s rather than warp to a 'roid and spend time fiddling around to get back into position for a new bump.
