I rather not give ninja salvager a noctis for baiting people. Or even worse a murader able to sink the missioner. |

only if you make it tractorable from multiple ships at the same time. The heaviest ship with the most tractor beams/strongest engines wins. You fail you fail you fail you fail you fail you fail you fail to jump because you are cloaked |

I actually like this idea.
A noctis goes for 50 mil, if a ninja salvager brings one, then it'd be fun to come back with a rifter and kill the ninja salvager.
Although the marauder scenario is a bit more problematic, you could still come back and PvP with the marauder.
Currently I never engage ninja salvagers because: * I am in a PvE fit * Their ship is dirt cheap * They likely have a PvP ship to kill me after I attack/kill their dirt cheap ship
Switching to a PvP frigate fit - probably not worth the time.
Marauders aren't good for solo PvP - as their are easily jammed.
If a ninja salvager wants to bring in such an expensive ship, they might as well just do missions themselves, and they have enough to lose that I might actually think they are worth attacking. |

I think if you try to tractor a yellow wreck it should send feedback through the tractor beam that explodes your ship without warning. Would this benefit the game? Probably not. Would it make me giggle? Definitely. Six months in the hole... it changes a man. |

How many idiots do you think ask a dumb question because a marauder has a huge ******* ECM weakness which means the smart ones don't open fire on gankbait and said idiots think PVE ships fit jammers on their ships for no practical reason ?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought they already were tractorable and it already did flag you red to the wreck owner. |

1. White, its all right - Yours or corp, belongs to you. Tractable or lootable without repercussions 2. Yellow, leave it mellow - Its not yours. You cannot tractor it or loot it without gaining aggression leaving you open to being shot it. If you like that kind of think, then thats up to you. 3. Blue, say thank you - Blue means its open, its basicly a public wreck and works like a white wreck. Anyone can loot or tractor it, no fear of repercusions.
Salvage - open to debate. The downward pointing arrow icon wrapped around a cargo container is the property of the owner that generates it, that means they can dictate what they want to do with it as they are the only ones that can tractor it, loot it, shoot it and CONCORD won't intervene (you can loot or shoot it, but the owner fire back or CONCORD will get you). If you can get to the wreck be the owner and activate the salvager, what ever generates into your cargo hold is yours because those items didn't exist before you started your cycle and the owner can do nothing to you as you turn that downward pointing arrow icon into a cargo container icon. |

Troll, please read what I wrote (note the added bold and underline):

I'm not going to leave the mission, switch to a PvP setup, and come back, just to kill a frigate that I could buy more than a thousand of after a day of running incursions, that will probably warp off if I come back.
A maurader on the other hand... that is something worth killing! and it has much longer align times, making it easier to catch.
Then throw in a big weakness to ECM...
If people try to (not so) Ninja salvage in those... I think they will soon find the endeavor is far from profitable. |

What if you want to sit on gates of OTAs with a Noctis, and salvage
Plus, I'd be eager to kill some of those A holes using a Noctis or even Marauder to ninja salvage. |

Wait, what?
Grow up man, its an MMO, that means dealing with people, and its eve, which means dealing with people who want to make profit at your expense. Ninjas salvaging creates a valuable service to the eve community, because it allows new players to make a relatively large amount of money on minimum skills, while also introducing them to PvP.
All missioning does is devalue the economy.
I personally would suggest a compromise. Any wreck that has nothing in it can be tractored, if its yellow it attracts agro. Wrecks with stuff in them can only be tractored if blue or white. |

right well, if they made yellow wreckas tractorable, i would just sit in a lvl 4 mission with my noctis, find the item retrieval wreck, and just start tracotring it away every time the person get's close to it, AB away, wait for them to get close, tractor, AB away, wait, tractor, AB away... would be fun, especially when they decided to just shoot me and get CONCORDOKKEN'd |

Tractor beams on yellow wreck = agro. They would not be Concorded. |

Thats more or less what I said, you can tractor a wreck thats not yours, it will make you red to the owner, but you can tractor it. |
