So speed tanking my ship and lost it because it got embedded into idiotic "scenery" while I was orbiting a ship because IT moved to close to it.
So my request is move it, lose it, or give it a MUCH smaller hit box so I don't embed in something so aggressively that I can't warp out. |

Maybe instead you should pay attention during your missions? Just a tiny bit? |

If, in the vastness of space you manage to crash your ship, I'm fairly sure its not the scenery that's idiotic. |

#2 - Suppose I should've still it is very annoying
#3 - Ahh yes, I see, you have ever speed tanked anything nor orbited anything that was moving and not noticed it was getting too close to scenery..
Obviously thank you for your infinite wisdom. |

Sort of.
I remember doing the starter combat tutorials and there is an idiotic mission where you have to approach a booby-trapped hotel which then explodes in your face and you get mobbed by ncpcs really close. You enivitably get stuck in the structures there as you have to approach almost to 0 to complete the mission.
I remember losing my first condor there, and I was really annoyed with this mechanic.
The other super-idiotic thing is acceleration gates, and getting stuck on the damn "legs". You warp to 0 to one, and try to activate, then spend the next minute waiting for your ship to work out how to get past the legs. Either that or you spam Ctrl-Space and have to navigate yourself out of the extra-big hitbox. |

Yeah, one of the Level 2 multipart missions requires you to retrieve an object from near a destroyed station. As soon as you get the object then a wave of baddies shows up. I ran that mission twice before getting to Level 3s and both times doubleclicked in what appeared to be deep space to get my ship out, yet got bumped by the invisible collision edges and knocked back to zero as the enemy fire came in. You have to hunt around to see what angle wonGÇÖt bump you into the boxes.
It wouldnGÇÖt be so bad if it wasnGÇÖt possible for people to shoot you through physical objects. The combination of GÇ£canGÇÖt fly through itGÇ¥ and GÇ£can shoot through itGÇ¥ is bad. I remember how disappointing it was in my first week of Eve when I found that if I dodged behind an asteroid NPCs could still shoot me. I guess itGÇÖs the engine showing its age.

"Not noticed" is the relevant part in that sentence. Pay attention next time! This is like crashing your car into a brick wall, then complaining to the council that the brick wall shouldn't ave been there, because you didn't notice it.

So, if you hit a pedestrian on a sidewalk because you weren't paying attention, you would ***** to the city about relocating or removing said sidewalks? Sounds lagit. |
