Been with the crew for a year and a half now, and couldn't see myself playing eve at all if I wasn't. It's the great community that keeps me logging in |

I'd like to start off by saying that the guys we have in The Night Crew, are by far some of the best people I've played EVE with. As afew of them have stated already, the community is what makes us great. We have our stumbles here and there, but we work through them and come out stronger for it. I look at us as an extended family; we hear about each other's lives, families, friends and the grit and grime in-between. We have our discussions and our disagreements; but at the end of the day we're all adults and continue on.
If you're looking for a brotherhood of comradery and respect, and not just another "Throw numbers at it" corporation, then I hope to see you in our recruitment channel. And now, for some brass tacks...
There are two sides to The Night Crew Alliance; one is our empire branch which is where all our new recruits go for mandatory 'stasis' for evaluation, which also serves as a 'retirement home' for our Wormhole guys who have real life creeping up on them or just need a break in general. Real life; work, school, and family will always take precedence over EVE. If life gets too hectic for you that you can't dedicate the necessary time to EVE; we won't hold it against you; but you are required to let us know(this is extremely important in WH space; you will be asked to move to our empire branch until your free time picks back up again if your time away from the game will be longer than a month. If you don't follow through, we have specific cut-offs in which you are removed from corp and all your assets are absorbed.)
The empire branch still has access to TeamSpeak(infact it's mandatory for all TNCA members when they're in-game). Those in empire are encouraged to run ops together; whether that be mining, mission running, wormhole diving(for sleepers or PVP), or low-sec and null-sec roams. The empire branch allows the Directors of TNCA and myself to evaluate activity, attitude and other qualities we look for in pilots who would like to train further for WH life.
As an alliance, we do not allow extortion, blackmail, piracy or deceit: We honor what we say to those in the EVE community, if an agreement is made, it is kept to the best of our ability. This is expected of all members, whether they live in wormhole space or empire. Those who go against what we stand for, or buck our way of doing things; are shown the door.
Of our wormhole crew; we expect the best: EVE is a game of teamwork and comradery, and it goes deeper when you're in wormhole space. You're basically an island of cast-aways, there are even fewer 'definites' in WH space than anywhere else in EVE; the brotherhood and comradery must be maintained at all costs. If you're a lone-wolf, whether looking to go off on your own constantly for PVP or to make money; go elsewhere. You will not be given solace and protection under this dragon's wing. You give loyalty and respect to the community and corporation, or you're shown a very expedited trip back to empire.(It involves the purchase of a new clone, for those wondering.)
Anyone looking to join The Night Crew in wormhole space, must join our recruitment channel and talk to us there. You'll be brought to our empire branch and go through the standard stasis for all members; there are no fast-tracks to our area of wormhole space.(No, we don't care how many SPs you have or that you can fly carriers, it's a mandatory stasis for evaluation.) The evaluation lasts as long as it has to, but the average is around a month time-span; and again, the actions(or in-action) of the individual determines the length of their stasis period. We will be upfront with you in this manner, if your attitude is bad, we'll let you know, if you lack in specific skills, or a general inability to even play the game(flying your ship, etc), you'll be told.
TNCA is not looking for mere numbers; we're looking for quality members who can get along well with each other and keep their attitudes at the door. If you bring baggage, your time with us will not be pleasant nor prolonged. If you get accepted to our wormhole crew, and drop off the face of the earth or have a dramatic shift in behavior or activity; you'll be sent back out to empire.
There are no children in TNCA: We are not a baby-sitter, and it goes double for the adults that we recruit. We expect honesty in all aspects, even about you as a person and in real life. TNCA goes beyond EVE, we want to get to know each other as people, not mere text boxes on the screen. If you're not comfortable sharing about yourself on a person to person level, please look elsewhere. |

The wealth of a corporation is based on its people that choose to be a part of it. Isk is but a digital currency, its nothing compared to the people you choose to spend your time with, the reason you log on each day. Besides, what is isk if you cant spend it with friends and blow **** up!

I often try to think what makes this corp so different from other corps I have been in before the Night Crew. Here are some observations . . .
Emphasis on the individual ORGANIZATION - never have a seen a corp so organized yet still able to kick back TRUST - i've been some wacky paranoid corporations before, there is none of that paranoid crap, probably has to do with being around for 8 years and still going. COMMUNITY - people getting on just to hang out and be with other people |

From one of our members - ChuckZ when he first started with us . . .
I've been a part of the crew for over 7 months now and I wanted to let everyone know about some "firsts" I've had with the crew.
1. I've made over 2bil ISK and I don't play every night. 2. pvp kills (different toon) 3. Made gas mining fun (is that possible?,,, it is here) 4. Mined for cap construction 5. Learned to be a part of large fleets with complex logistics 6. Wormhole crushing 7. I now understand all parts of WH's, their effects, and easily get in and out....safely
Ultimately this list could go on and on but what I'm trying to say is these guys listen to your questions, answer them to the best of their ability, and understand that you have a real life.

Question: I've been in a few corps that have just fallen apart. How stable is your corp?
Answer: The Night Crew has been around for 8 years now. I't the reason I joined this corp, after being in several smaller corps that were always in flux. I wanted a home that I wasn't worried about logging in one day and discovering there wasn't a corp. The Night Crew isn't going anywhere.

I could go on and on about how great TNC is, but until you know us, it's just words. And so I say, just look up the corp histories of TNC members. Most people in this game bounce around from corp to corp every few months. But once people come to The Night Crew, they stay for years!
Now that says alot about a corp without the preaching. |

I've been a part of TNC for a YEAR and 7 months now and......
1. You won't believe the amount of ISK in my wallet. 2. Lots of PVP kills 3. Still mining - Huge mining fleets / Orca bonuses /mInd links etc.. 4. Still help guys work towards various objectives 5. Our "complex" logistics don't seem complex anymore, we've also learned how to do things other ways too...EXPERIENCE!!! 6. I can crush a WH in several different ways depending on the situation 7. Scouting has become 2nd nature, If we find you in a WH you will more and likely die 8. The empire corp has picked up several new guys the past week and a number of seasoned corp mates went to Hi Sec to hang out and run ops.
Join "The Night Crew Recruitment" Channel and verify this about our corp....
We're new player friendly, we will answer your questions (best way to learn, we don't assume you're a noob), and we understand that you have a real life.
Lastly, be sure to read Shevai's posts entirely, all the rules are clearly laid out and I assure you thats what will happen when you begin your quest to be a part of The Night Crew!!! |

One of the things I like about the Night Crew is there are no visions of grandeur. We're just a bunch of people that get together to hang out, and just do "stuff" together. No politics, no drama, no bs just a bunch of veterans and relatively new players enjoying themselves.
And being in a wormhole "stuff" tends to change each day!

(As taken from my original post in the original thread at the start of the year, as it still holds true today.)
Hands down, the guys I fly with in The Night Crew have kept me engrossed in the game. If it weren't for our close-knit brotherhood atmosphere I'm not sure I'd even be all that attatched to the game. It doesn't matter if you fly with PVP Savants, Industrial Geniuses or PVE Know-It-Alls; if there's a lack of community amongst the people you fly with; you're doomed to eventually have disinterest.
I've played EVE off and on for many years, since 2004. I've always had a hard time really getting into a corp that had a solid community atmosphere, and most of my time was spent just operating in my own corps and bringing in friends and empire-based people just to have banter.
Over a year ago, I signed back up after one of many hiatus, got some friends involved and went at it all again; and then I had this tinge that I wanted to start going into the 'frontier' of wormholes. I'd been in empire, I'd gone out to 0.0 and been in a pirate corp; and ultimately it just wasn't interesting. I needed something that was entirely different from what I had normally been doing in EVE; Wormholes was just what I needed. It's a constant unknown everytime you log in. You could have four wormholes opening up to yours, you could have a small gang of peeping toms sitting in recons just waiting to bring the noise upon your skull. It was the thought of something cruel and dark being upon me without knowing it that made wormhole life all the more interesting.
So I hit the recruitment channel ingame, and started throwing my own advertisement up; looking for recruits looking to dive into wormhole life and all it entails.
What did I get? A chat conversation invite by TNT 1. Intrigued, I jumped in and we had a talk. He gave me a thorough run-down on what The Night Crew and wormholes were all about, and I then spent three months training all the appropriate skills(scanning/astrometrics, shield/missile skills and caldari ships). I also explained to T, that despite having operated my own smaller corps and 'guilds' in other games, I really did'nt want any responsibility or role in The Night Crew. I just wanted the ability to log on, play with a great group of people and do whatever was on the agenda for the evening.
Getting into that first wormhole and making all the jumps to The Night Crew's primary base of operations ignited that spark, it was as if I had just started playing EVE. From there, things just kept getting better. People were held accountable for what they did or did'nt do, drama was next to non-existent, and everything just worked. Everyone was more than willing to share what they knew, in order to make every link in the chain as strong as possible and to solidify the bond between new and old player. I found myself maxing skills and flying ships that I never imagined I'd even want to fly, or even be able to afford.
Over the course of a year we opened and closed many wormholes, by expansion, conquest or defeat; but ultimately we still held firm together. Sure, people have come and gone; but rarely ever on bad terms; and those who have left on bad terms are remembered just as readily as those who've taken their hiatus to Real Life(TM). All of us were done a great service by T, who always did his best to surround us with like-minded players, people willing to learn and to teach. If it weren't for this approach of "Quality above Quantity", the atmosphere and the corporation would'nt be anywhere near as awesome as it is.
So here I sit, over a year from joining The Night Crew, the guy who never wanted any role of importance; sitting in the seat of CEO; and I say again, the community is the only deciding factor of whether you're going to have a good time in EVE. The brotherhood we have amongst us is strong; the members are capable and willing to learn, the Directors are fair and understanding. Top to bottom, thick and thin; if it weren't for the guys I fly with on a nightly basis I'd have shelved EVE yet again and not thought too much about it.
The Night Crew, may the years to come be as good to us as the years that have passed. (With exception to the 'Best, Worst Idea Ever'...but thats a story for another time.) |

Aside from our primary existence in WH's, we're actively recruiting for our empire division aswell.
The empire division's only requirements are that of the core of TNC: You never partake in piracy, you don't exploit or extort others, and you always honor your word.(And of course no smack talk). Our TS server is openly available to all members of The Night Crew Alliance, whether in empire or WH.
Those who live in empire(either for their current stasis to eventually come into the WH, or our WH'ers going to empire for a break) are always up for playing together; whether that be mining, exploration, missioning for Standing/ LPs; or PVP roams through low-sec, null or WH diving.
We're recruiting all timezones, expecially US and EU; all others are welcome, but you MUST speak and understand english(Atleast to the extent that we manage to spit it out).
Please join us in our recruitment channel, and feel free to hang out and talk to any TNCA members there for information. We want to get to know all of our possible new members, so don't just sit there idle or not partake of conversation, and don't be let down if at times there aren't people in the channel from TNCA, we can't be there all the time.
We expect loyalty and respect; and if it's given, it's returned in spades. |

Last time we had recruitment open, I made a pretty heartwarming post about how we are less about eve, and more about a community.
That hasn't changed, we seem all like mindless drones all saying the same thing "Great guys, awesome community, it's them that makes the game.. blah blah blah.." Yeah, that is all true.
We got a few people who've posted about the stupid silly amount of isk we make for the amount of work we do. Yeah, that is also quite true.
PVP? **** happens, always fun, and always some good story to come of it.
We do everything. You don't join TNC, you join us. WE do everything. And as such, we try to be discerning about who we actually let in, so you know, we can actually get along with each other. We also need to be able to ensure you can participate ounce you are flying with us, and as such, we don't require (X)/(ty^3)*5 Million Skillpoints, we require specific skills. I think those skills add up to about 5mil. There is another list after you get into the hole as well. But even that one is not very long. Mainly "Can you fit a ship properly? Yes? Good, shut the **** up, Next!"
I sat on the Empire side of this corp for about 9 months. The things we did in empire were fun, but when i finally joined up into the wormhole side, it blew my mind.
so uhh, The Night Crew is Super! We even used to have a cheerleader! |

It might be too early in the morning in the US (2:03AM Eastern) but I'm sitting in your recruitment channel right now.
I'm a fairly new player still. 10mil SP and my toon was created in Feb of 2012. My skills have mostly been specialized for incursions (my last corp directed me that way) and my first corp (that was a pirate corp) directed me towards tackling, so I also have those for PvP.
I've been doing nothing but run incursions for MONTHS. It's a great money maker, but it's really getting old and I'd like to explore more aspects of the game. I have been looking into WH exploration and it sounds like the playground I've been looking for!
However; as I said before, I'm still fairly new to the game and don't understand a lot of the mechanics (especially PvP). As much as I am looking for a corp to venture into WH space with, I'm also looking for a group that understands and accepts that I don't know a lot about the game - but - I am ready and willing (and exited) to learn as much as I can! |

The Recruitment Channel Questions -
Question: What is the minimum skill points a player must have to join The Night Crew?
Answer: We are looking for 10 million+ skill point players. But if your reading this and your under 10 million, even if you only have a 3 million, your welcome to apply as long as you don't mind being in empire, running missions with other members. We just can't bring you into one of our wormhole operations until your decently skilled. Some of the things you will get out of our corp being a newer player is help on how to fit your ships, help from seasoned veterans, and grouping with other mission runners who live in empire.
