Firstly; http://www.space.com/14876-astronaut-spaceflight-vision-problems.html
Secondly, the lack of realistic gravity systems (such as Tensar cables applying force to limbs to prevent muscular atrophy) catering for Bone Marrow debilitates the formation of red blood cells and causes osteoporosis a method that should be attempted in this respect is to apply the tensar strips, and use different polarities of electromagnet at the ceiling and floor space, with cobalt/iron/nickel plates underneath the moonboot-esque tie in for the tensar strips. With the right strength the bone marrow may be less affected.
However, the experiment to find out would require geo-stationary studies on a box with a bar magnet and iron fillings, which is watched as the Moon and Sun affect it's filling concentration/deviation.

I guess they never considered that trying to distinguish detail on the Earth and other distant objects from space could cause severe eye strain. Stick a person in a room with 8 feet of visual depth for 28 days, then bring them out and see if they can define detail at a distance greater than 50 feet.
Also, trying to work on something extra-vehicular with that helmet, in that light.. Something that requires attention to detail. Like staring at a CRT television with bad color and trying to play BF3 on it from 2 feet away I imagine. zubzubzubzubzubzubzubzub |

Those are some nice little arrows and boxes you've drawn, well done you. No idea why you drew them, but have a gold star anyway
I should probably point out the other glaring thing that seems to have been missed regarding this picture.
Who took it? Because I'm not seeing anywhere the camera could be attached to the rover. "The truth is usually just an excuse for a lack of imagination." Elim Garak.

What the picture fails to point out is perhaps the most critical evidence, in the lower left corner, footprints can be seen.
Also, this was just confirmed by the AssociatedPress. Apparently there was some worries about selecting/lotto'ing a group of astronauts from several different backgrounds, but NASA wanted the first man to be an American, just like the Moon was. If you honestly believe those are footprints, I have a bridge I think you might like to buy. Those are scoop marks dear boy, from the sampling tools that Curiosity carries, it scoops up samples for analysis in the on-board laboratory.
