What is the purpose of having the aggression mechanic apply where you are helping your alt warp in an Orca in HS/LS/NS by dual webbing it when you and the alt are in the same corp? It could even be another corp mate in his or her Orca. The problem is two sided... I know that a gate camp would be satisfied to pick my Rapier off in LS/NS because it is stuck behind the Orca, which cant jump at this time because of aggression from webbing the Oca off the previous gate... While the Orca waits so patiently holding cloak, I have to wait to jump to double web it again.
What is the general consensus to this mechanic for corp mates (not alliance), but maybe alliance, and or in HS/LS/NS... obviously in WH space this does not apply. This is usually the most dangerous part of my day, which is in HS/LS because of this mechanic. Or at least I think so.

@ the OP. Sorry but's working as intended. You can't expect to use aggression mechanics in high sec, without any of the drawbacks. Not only that, but you're dual boxing it. Which also has drawbacks and rightly so.

Its an orca, can't you fit an MWD to speed up the jump instead of dual webbing it? (Player Opened Direct Wormholes) (Expanding on Wormholes) |

the point of dual webbing is to get the orca off grid asap... which works fine, it just means that my rapier pilot has to lag a lil behind to let the timer reset, so i can instantly jump and re web the orca...
I dont see how this is an exploit, I mean, not having this mechanic... for corp mates... ofc.
and dual boxing is good if you can do it smoothly and think your moves out before you move.

It's not an exploit, but at the same time it comes with consequences. I.E. aggression mechanics. People have used this for years and dealt with the aggression penalties.
Your main issue is the dual boxing. This system runs much smoother in a corp gang.

1.) Get familiar with the new crimewatch system that is coming out in the next release:
2.) You get a Weapons timer anytime you use your weapons on a player ship. That is the timer that prevents you from docking / gate jumping, etc... Why should you be immune to penalty just because you use your weapons on a corpmate? |

Maybe so, but my computer runs two accounts fine.... as if no one dual boxes in eve. and besides, I may not be able to wait for my corpies to be out of the WH and in HS to assist me move my own assets. Right.... I have a few accounts for crying out loud, I might as well use two to help each other... eh?

I have checked out this new update... yea... I know, seems like the good ol days are over with assisting your own accounts... at least in this particular fashion. I bet WH space this doesnt apply... as concord doesnt exist there. at least yet.
and in my particular case, its not a corp mate im helping, its my alt account, but that wouldnt make a difference I can tell. I see where you all are coming from... and why would I or my corp get an exception? ty for the inputs folks. :) I will adapt my methods of logistics as needed. |

Right.... I have a few accounts for crying out loud, I might as well use two to help each other... eh? Oh I'm in no doubt your PC is able to dual box np. It's more about the actual act of dual boxing that's causing you issues. You're never quite as proficient running this system, as you would be in a corp gang. Especially if there is two helping with the webbing in a corp gang.
But when needs must, of course you have to dual box and I completely understand that. But in those times, proficiency will be an issue.

An MWD slows down your align time and time it takes to accelerate to warp speed so it will make you go slower.

click align, one cycle of MWD, cycle ends and you're at speed to go into warp. |
