It was name created by a friend 15-16 odd years ago, caps lock is cruise control for cool and all. It's an anagram for Hex Ire Spur but I prefer it in EVE being XIRU SP HERE. |

Voldan was created well over 12 Years ago when my old character name (one from a book) started being taken up, or blocked. I have other characters that have been around as long and I tend to use the same names in all the games I play.
Although this was not my first character in EVE I picked another one to use instead. It gets pretty funny at times as some people know me as one character and others know me as another. Especially if they end up in the same alliance or corp.
As far as the name creation, pick something random and then modify it till I like it. With the exception of the one character name which I can't use anymore. |

I pref rnames thta give soem room for roleplaying. I rsearched the forums to see what was the consensus on Amarrian oriin and many seemd to thoguh tthye were like Persina . so i looked for Perian and mongol names in manye websites and came up with Ishtanchuk, form the Persian Ishtar (star) and a pretty common termination fro mongol names which apparently means "strong" (-chuk)
So Ishtanchuk means somehting like "mighty star". As for the surname, just created it from scratch.
For my alt and ingame cousin, Indahmawar, I went east and used google translator until I came up with "indah mawar", which means "beautiful rose" in Malayan. Thus, Indahmawar is my beauty contest ingame cousin...
For my second alt I also used Google an came up with a variation of the Korean words meaning "alternate path", and so she got the name Yiole Gionglao back when Achuras looked Eastern. Now she's a blue eyed redhead and the name looks a bit silly, but, damn CARBON for it. I should had never left X3: Reunion |

I have a great many female friends. I also have a head of very fine, soft hair. Said friends LOVE to play with my hair because "it's the closest we'll ever get to playing with a fuzzy bunny!" (we all live in apartments). A few years ago, I got tired of being called "Fuzzy" so I grew my head hair out. Now it is a beautiful "mane of silky fluffiness" (their words, not mine) so I am currently known as "Fluffy." "Fluffers" is just a branch out from that.
The prefix to my name came about from the serious thought process of "ooooo... it sounds cooler that way." I speak a bit of Persian/Farsi (thanks Dad) and "King" translates to "Shah."
So I am thus, the King of Fluffiness!! Man, I am NEVER flying with you.......
I can see local now.... here comes "fluffy". Not "death" or "crazee" or"wildjoker"...... "fluffy"
Psst... Where do ya live? Take an aspirin. If pain persists consult your local priest. WTB: An Austrian kangaroo!

I decided to use a bit of EVE lore when coming up with my name. The Gallente are supposed to be descended from the french; So i took the french variation of my first name Guillaume (William), and then flipped through some of the random last names until i found one that fit.

I needed to log into TQ one day fairly quickly after having been hired. Had no clue what I was going to name myself and did not really care as I was having fun with the portrait creator and thought the name would probably surface before I finished.
But it didn't, and when I was done I ended up with this. Yup, that's how I looked for the first few months here until I switched my face to this old mug. At any rate the prettier picture there, once completed, reminded me of a comic book character from Dv8 (Wildstorm) called Sublime. But Sublime was already taken, and at that point we didn't all prefix our names with CCP so that was the end of that.
Prism was also taken, first by some trial character that had never logged in and now by a solar system in the Black Rise region. So I slapped an X at the end of my name to be more like this guy. That guy is pretty random but always a solid guy to have around. And here we are!
Astute observers might have noticed a glaring gap in the story between paragraph two and three. That's because the third one is a blatant lie. The true story is not very "official CCP Forums" friendly. ~ CCP Prism X EVE Database Developer "Prism X is my first world problem." ~ CCP FLX If anything in this post was informative or could be considered as 'good news' to you - chances are you've misread it. |

Before I hit the "confirm" button for my name I actually thought of that... and I figured it would work to my advantage. People would be too busy laughing at me to realize that I've scrammed them. And it'd be bruising to the ego. "You got killed by Fluffy dude! FLUFFY!"
And wouldn't you like to know where I live big boy! "Just because I seem like an idiot, doesn't mean I am one." ~Unknown |

This character is named Dulake after the knight Lancerlot the greatest knight of the round table. His full title was Lancerlot Du Lake so i chose the last part. I chose Karn as it was a strong name.
Originally i was going to call this character Karn Doomhammer and then i realised that i was not 14 years old

Because looking at my creation in the character creator reminded me very much of the pharaos of ancient Egypt.
Amun-Ra was the sun god - fitting for a true amarrian!
My real name starts with V.
"Re" is a less common spelling of "Ra", and it sounded better.
Thus, Vamun Re was born. |

Aldan Romar was my first character in the roleplaying game Traveller. I developed him in the mid-nineties, and only played him for a short campaign, but he is my most beloved character of a long (>20 years) rolplaying career.
If you look at the Spinward Marches map towards the trailing border of the Domain of Deneb of the Third Empire you will find the system Romar. Aldan Romar was rolled as an imperial noble (Baron) by birth and I chose a system at random, only to later learn of it's interesting, very Dune-inspired background.
From birth on, Aldan Romar was educated as a leader in the service of his people. Graduating from the Naval Academy and Flight school, he joined the Imperial Marines and served as a flight officer in an Imperial Marines Flight Wing, until he was badly wounded and was honourably discharged.
Thanks for still reading...
Ten years later my life had gnawed away my hobbies when I discovered EVE, and in a culmination of everything I hold dear, Traveller, Elite, Dune, Battletech, grand Science Fiction settings, marvelleous presentation, I am able to reinterpret my character again - with an EVE universe spin... There's nothing worse than leaving a bad looking corpse |
