I don't know if it is just me, or something I am doing, but it seems that everytime I find a corp that seems a good fit for me, it dies off in a couple months! This has happened four or five times in the last year or so. Anyone else have this happen to them?
Hmm... I have a business proposition: forget about war decs on rival corps: hire ME to join them!!! I'll make them die off in just a matter of time!!!! |

Where do the people go? If they all just quit had they been playing long?
If they went to another corp couldn't you go with them? I think it's better to find people you like and move around with them than find a banner you like and stay under it until it falls. |

You only kill corps. I kill ALLIANCES.
I joined Atlas. It died.
I joined IT. It died.
I joined -A-, it's technically still alive, but in zombie (Stain) mode.
I joined Raiden, it didn't die, but it got seriously wounded.
I joined NCDot and it got Goonstomped out of the north.
INIT, you next! CCP Gargant:-á this game requires a certain amount of simply going out there and chatting with people. You will get scammed, destroyed, cheated, trolled, and blown up but that is just a part of the essence of this game. -á |

Nope, you aren't alone.
Every alliance I was a part of has since disbanded. Several of them being Sov holding alliances with plenty of ISK and members. Just not enough to stop the blobs. The corps go on, some to be much bigger than they were when I was in them.
/tip of the hat to Clan Shadow Wolf
I was always active in the political side of the game so I knew why things were happening. I didn't have anything to do with it but I can take responsibility and say I didn't have anything to do with fixing it either. |

Actually come to think of it, every corp I joined had the CEO die not long after. And yes I do mean die, as in no longer having a pulse and apt to be amongst the first zombie hoards. Oh and then the corp dies after. |

Thank you for the amusing comments. Makes me giggle.
I hate the thought of corp shopping again. So many scams out here
A couple people actually wanted a deposit of ISK before I joined. Can you imagine the nerve.... Who would fall for that?!?!?! |

The problem is Hi sec is causal so people actually have "lives"
So we can't devote our life to the game. Thus corps fall apart, plus in my experience people don't want to step up and lead.
I once lead a industrial corp that would PAY members to LEAD, but no one wanted to do it. Perhaps you should start your own
corp.
In null sec, belligerent undesirable neck beards have something to prove. its more than a game. Thus the continuity of their corps. Vote for me in the next CSM Elections. I will fight for the interest of all Hi-sec dwellers. No longer will you be cast aside and disparaged.-á |

I got luck i was in corporation founded in 2005 with average 3-5 players logged to game every day, old good friends, curently im out of this coproration for some reason but any time i can go back to them, this coproration still exist in game with some old vetereans, people who realy love EvE and respect other inside corp, its like family, since few years few people form this corporation try meny things in game, we was in 0.0, low sec, i was even a diplomat while my corp was a null space ally member, yes a diplo with horrible grammar skills ;) Hovewer we spent most time in empire ;) as carebears hehe. EvE isn't game, its style of living. |

PvE isn't a good way to keep people together. I never heard anyone talk about the epic red boxes they shot the other day or how many roids got mined today.
