Not very weird locations but..
On my laptop in the train on the way to Germany to some convention where there were was an Eve stand. At said convention, I asked one of the eve peopleif I could borrow the demonstration computer for a bit, because I had to sort out my PI.
At the airport, while on the way to fanfest, checking up my Jita orders and such, while talking with some other Eve players.
In an internet cafe in Reykjavik ( forgot the name, it was on the big 'main' street with all the restaurants and pubs )

I sometimes play on the outskirts of train yards while I'm waiting for trains to pass through. I've even played while I ride them. Assuming I'm close enough to the BDUnits in the back. Are you saying that you ride the rails like some kind of 30's drifter / beatnik? WHILE playing EVE! That is amazing if true, moar info please / full story. "I play my harmonicaaaaa while I fly my harbinger missions don't mean **** to meeeee as I drift across the country..."
Lol Nice little song ya got there man :P
I won't bore with the story but yeah I've been traveling for about 8 years now. (in mah 20's) Mostly permanently. No residence etc. I guess most would call that homeless but such a harsh word considering I travel by choice. At least mostly. lol. Some days more so than others. Like today for instance as it's 21degrees outside... Hot spots are my friend. I have a special laptop running Backtrack Linux Specifically for cracking weps while on the go just so I can play EVE when I want where I want. =D The Rails are my main form of travel. Wings + EVE + Beer = Win! You didn't notice the hooters? Ummm... How do I say this...? Well, being I was born with my own.... NEVER acknowledge being a female in EVE or on its forums. You will now be drowned in a sea of penises wanting to "help you out" in the game.

The craziest place I've played would have been the hospital before and after my son was born. The funny thing about eve is that folks often think you're working on something complex and important, as long as you're not screaming on coms.

We Americans do EVERYTHING while driving. It's why so many of us die in auto accidents. Everything from eating, drinking, smoking, talking, texting, singing, picking your nose, fighting, using a laptop, having sex, etc...

Awesome! I played in Wonderland, while having tea with the Mad Hatter. Unfortunately, the Red Queen's soldiers came for us so I had to fight back. I know 20 different variations of Kung Fu, so I managed to beat them and still blow some squid ships up. Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot. |

Crazest place or lamest I ever played was in a motel in South Datoka. My laptop sucks and I was traveling across the country a couple years ago, so I accutally brought my Mac. Back when you could run classic mode I played on my laptop all over this hemisphere.
Also if you live in SD I'm sorry, I'm a city boy. SD is beautiful, but lets face after the sun goes down there's not a lot to do. One night in Deadwood is enough. |

So very true. =) Most of the corps I have been in would joke about where I was playing at that day based on the sounds they could hear in the background lol.
