We have Aura, we have EVE Mon ,and EVE central. LOADS of apps that uses the API key to pull data from the server ,so we can check up on our training , on the market, on the go.
However, why don't we take it one step further?
How about enabling rudimentary asset management by porting a Mobile Business Version of EVE onto android an other platforms? So people can create contracts , sell items , and do other rudimentary tradings even if they're away from the computer?
I personally think that would be quiet convenient for folks who can't spend 3 hours on EVE nonstop. But I don't really know what the community thinks about it ... SO! What do you think about the concept? It is forbidden to kill. Therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.

While I think it could be useful, and seeing as other games have pulled off similar systems, I don't think it would be a good addition to EVE.
The first issue I can see with it is that it adds another point-of-entry for account breach. Now, if you lose access to your phone or mobile device, you could find that all your stuff just got contracted out to someone else.
The second issue would be EVE's market. If you have a transmission error, or make a mistake due to the interface, you won't be getting reimbursed by CCP, as their logs would show you making a transaction or contract.
Mobile modifier for skill queue, and only skill queue, I support completely and fully. Seeing as so many people have problems setting skill queues due to being unable to log in for work or military reasons (no computer access), and phone service is basically global, it would be a great addition. |

True, but we aren't going to be able to enjoy the bulk of the game has to offer. We are just micromanaging our characters as stated in 2.0 .
it doesn't take away from the experience of the main platform , it just allows you to keep on playing even if you're away. It is forbidden to kill. Therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.
