The Reliable Realist
Reliable Realists like you are down-to-earth and responsible-minded. You are precise, reserved and demanding. Your most prominent quality is reliability and you will always make every effort to keep any promise given. Reliable Realists are more quiet and serious persons, they do not talk a lot but they are good listeners. You sometimes seem reserved and distant to outsiders although you have a great deal of wit and esprit. Your strong points are thoroughness, a marked sense of justice, doggedness and a pragmatic, vigorous and purposeful manner. You do not dither about if something has to be done. You do what is necessary without wasting words.
Not so sure about the "wit and esprit" part, but the rest seems to fit . |

The Dreamy Idealist
Recommend this test: Dreamy Idealists like you are very cautious and therefore often appear shy and reserved to others. You share your rich emotional life and your passionate convictions with very few people. But one would be very much mistaken to judge you to be cool and reserved. You have a pronounced inner system of values and clear, honourable principles for which you are willing to sacrifice a great deal. Joan of Arc or Sir Galahad would have been good examples of your personality type. Dreamy Idealists are always at great pains to improve the world. You can be very considerate towards others and do a lot to support them and stand up for them. You are interested in your fellow beings, attentive and generous towards them. Once your enthusiasm for an issue or person is aroused, you can become a tireless fighter.

The Determined Realist
Determined Realists like you want to bear responsibility and welcome challenges. You are a stable and reliable person. External contacts are very important to you; you mix well and you are very active. You are an excellent organiser and you are very happy when things are done correctly and punctually; you can quickly react impatiently if others are not as conscientious, orderly and dutiful as you are. You prefer structured work which produces visible results quickly to abstract, long-drawn-out processes. Determined Realists have no problem with routine as long as it serves efficiency. However, you very much dislike unexpected and unpredictable occurrences which mess up your careful plans. Once you have committed yourself to a cause you do this with dedication and you are willing to make considerable sacrifices for it. Get in the van, park it over there. |

The Analytical Thinker
Description's been posted already so I won't bother. It's a little bit more flattering than anything I would write about myself but other than that I mostly agree with the results.
Whenever I take a "proper" MBTI test I keep getting either INTP or INFP. INTP is the one I agree with more. |

The Analytical Thinker
Analytical Thinkers like you are reserved, quiet persons. You like to get to the bottom of things - curiosity is one of your strongest motives. You want to know what holds the world together deep down inside. You do not really need much more to be happy because you are a modest person. Many mathematicians, philosophers and scientists belong to your type. Analytical Thinkers loathe contradictions and illogicalness; with your sharp intellect, you quickly and comprehensively grasp patterns, principles and structures. You are particularly interested in the fundamental nature of things and theoretical findings; for you, it is not necessarily a question of translating these into practical acts or in sharing your considerations with others. Analytical Thinkers like to work alone; your ability to concentrate is more marked than that of all other personality types. You are open for and interested in new information.
The Doer
As an ESTP, your primary mode of living is focused externally, where you take things in via your five senses in a literal, concrete fashion. Your secondary mode is internal, where you deal with things rationally and logically.
ESTPs are outgoing, straight-shooting types. Enthusiastic and excitable, ESTPs are "doers" who live in the world of action. Blunt, straight-forward risk-takers, they are willing to plunge right into things and get their hands dirty. They live in the here-and-now, and place little importance on introspection or theory. The look at the facts of a situation, quickly decide what should be done, execute the action, and move on to the next thing.
ESTPs have an uncanny ability to perceive people's attitudes and motivations. They pick up on little cues which go completely unnoticed by most other types, such as facial expressions and stance. They're typically a couple of steps ahead of the person they're interacting with. ESTPs use this ability to get what they want out of a situation. Rules and laws are seen as guidelines for behavior, rather than mandates. If the ESTP has decided that something needs to be done, then their "do it and get on with it" attitude takes precendence over the rules. However, the ESTP tends to have their own strong belief in what's right and what's wrong, and will doggedly stick to their principles. The Rules of the Establishment may hold little value to the ESTP, but their own integrity mandates that they will not under any circumstances do something which they feel to be wrong.

The Analytical Thinker (Well Duh )
That site scratches the surface but seems to come close to the right conclusions. I've taken many a personality test and psych exam (in my job, psych re-evals are a yearly thing, and can happen more often for certain instances like a use-of-force issue). I love MBTI type test.
I always test out as an INTJ (introversion, intuition, Thinking, Judging) and like most INTJs I can't STAND some of the other types lol. i've met many EVE players I would tag as INTJs (or some sort of TJ), and (to get all EVE-ish) a lot of the people I argue with tend to be "FP"s. The world is big enough for everyone, but I wish those FP types would just F completely off .

Independent Thinkers like you are analytical and witty persons. You are self-confident and do not let yourself get worked up by conflicts and criticism. You are very much aware of your own strengths and have no doubts about your abilities. People of your personality type are often very successful in their career as they have both competence and purposefulness. Independent Thinkers are excellent strategists; logic, systematics and theoretical considerations are your world. You are eager for knowledge and always endeavour to expand and perfect your knowledge in any area which is interesting for you. Abstract thinking comes naturally to you; scientists and computer specialists are often of this type. |

Command of said jargon defends newly created astrology from outsiders unless they pay intermediaries. Language in general is fragmented into jargons and impoverished. An artist and an architect can no longer meaninfully converse. Romans in the time of Juvenal attached significance to things they thought meaningful, while Attic Greeks thought things happened in order to reveal a hidden meaning. The fact that last sentence means almost nothing is an indictment of your modern technical training that passes itself off as education.

A little funny, but mostly sad.
I sometimes recommend better things to read when people talk about reading pap, but how many of them are going to take the time to read something like the Nicomachean Ethics, or even something short and modern like Richard Weaver's Ideas have Consequences?

Also known as the Goddamn Know-it-all, Incorrigible Philistines like you are warm-hearted and helpful--in a weird, roundabout way. You do your work conscientiously, even compulsively. What's worse, you are committed to the fantasy that anyone else cares. Pontificating on any subject at all is extremely important to Incorrigible Philiistines. Your greatest pleasure is making yourself useful by enriching others. But you can't be arsed to push yourself to the fore; you prefer to fulfil your tasks out of the limelight, in your alternate dimension where textbook knowledge confers actual skill. You have a fundamental disrespect for the hoity and the toity; whether this is jealousy or actual thought, only time will tell. You are trying to train yourself not to use semicolons merely to demonstrate that you graduated from college. |
