WHY must we goddamn wait 24hours so we can join another corp? Why can't we make a quick switch to another? I know htis would help corp-theives, but prehaps we could have an option put in?
Quick-Kick A director or the CEO gives a member an option to leave the corp immediatly.
It is annoying as hell having to wait a full day to switch corps.

It's to prevent people from skipping out of a corp during a corp war to avoid a gate camp, or to get out of a station then rejoining 5 minutes later when they're away from the danger.

It's so you can harass corp thieves. Simply keep on giving them roles till they give up trying to leave.

Would this be graded an exploit ? I have considered doing this with a thief we recently had, making him our pet pod project till he either returned the goods or deleted the alt.

Its the corp turning off ya right to avoid ya stealing 1s you said ya leaving is the normal cause, if they let ya just leave it wouldnt happen so much.
Still if you jion another corp & get accetpted your be in the new corp right away no 24hour issue, I think. _______________________________________

Its to stop people in empire war from joining another corp to escape a camped station or gate, and then joining their original corp straight away.

i think its pretty stupid myself, the theif wouldve allready taken everything and gone into hiding (or kept on the move)(or just logged off) by the time the timer starts, and then would just stay logged off for the day. Quick kick would be a godsend. this here's mah sig': My Quote: "You can call me a carebear all you want, but your still an arrogant slimeball" |

Assigning roles to prevent someone from quitting was tried on the Guiding Hand Social Club member who stole from a corp. He petitioned and CCP forced kicked him as he requested. This tells me that doing it is considered an exploit. -------------------------------- CCP can patch away bugs, but they can't patch away stupidity. |

Dumb Dumb Dumb.
The CEO should be able to give someone the boot, and someone should be able to quit whenever. Who cares if he was a director of ****ography or whatever.
The war excuse/reason is a poor one, the timer should be set for something else. Like if he quits/kicked, he THEN has to wait 24 hours to rejoin that same corp, or hell make it 7 days, or if the corp is at war, for the continued duration of the war! That should discourage peeps from quitting just to make it out of a poor situation.

Can't you all just agree that its considered to be against the rules? Whether it's griefing or an exploit doesn't really matter since the result is the same.

Maybe it is an exploit or whatever but then again escaping punishment after a corp theft in a noob corp should also be considered an exploit.

Well, in that case running from a corp war into a noobcorp would be one too wouldnt it ? _______________________________________________

far as I am concerned yes
Personally I think noob corps should be just that. Noob corps
After you leave a noob corp you shouldn't be able to go back to one.

would it not be possible to simply let ppl who leave the corp still targetable for 24hours?
that way you cant leave corp to escape a war, but still able to leave corp without some silly 24hour rule! \o/ Spelling errors ahoy.. |

Its a waste, really. If I was to leave the corp cause of any of the aove reasons, I would simply not log on for that 24 hour period. Or just play with an alt.

The rule is in place to stop this scenario....
Corp A is at war with corp B. Player A is cornered by corp B in a station in a 1.0 system. Player A undocks, receives a couple of shots from several of corp B, then quits his corp. Concord check and se |
