I wonder if anyone tried relaying on two xlarge shield boosters and rest only have cap recharges 2's and 7 capacitor power relays 2, because that gives a cap of 4600 recharge rate completely in 51 seconds
I was wondering if anyone had luck either way of having all cap recharges in mids and a two cprs in lows, then either 4 hardners and 1 large armor repairer or 3 hardners and 2 large armor repairers?
because with such a huge recharge time, you could last recharge lol seems to be if you can recharge 4600 cap in 51 seconds then you will survive forever

either that or fill all lows shield power relays 2's and mids with shield rechargers so you have a shield recharge rate of 84 secs or less
then have his with medium guns :P

The problem is 7 cap relays would lower the amount of HP the boosters gives by a lot. Perhaps try 7 PDS modules instead. Even with 7 relays you donÆt have enough cap to run Two extra large booster none stop. _________________________________________________ Gallente defensive innovation comes from unexpected source. |

ôeither that or fill all lows shield power relays 2's and mids with shield rechargers so you have a shield recharge rate of 84 secs or lessö Your better off using some shield extenders over shield recharges in the mids slots as you end up with more shield regen and more hitpoints and shield power relays 2's are not out yet

how well would be filly up with all shield rechargers on mids and lows with shield powerrelays? since you could without any modules recharge over 4200 shield within 84 seconds, not sure how many shield hp that is per second, tho would kill your cap a lot but, wouldnt need cap if your naturally healing faster

just looking for alternatives methods other than people suggest, i know dominix is suppose to be a nos killer, but i play on using this for mainly hunting npcs in 0.0 and nos's aren't much use aganist npcs :P

was either plaining on filling all slots with cap recharges and putting two shield boosters or either putting all cap recharges and 2 cap power relays, 4 hardners and one large armor repairer

ô4200 shield within 84 seconds,ö That would give you 125 hp/s regen at peak but itÆs not possible as you cannot buy the modules and if the modules where out you will still be better using less shield recharge modules and using more shield extenders. A mix of boosting total hitpoints and shield recharge is better then pure recharge. The other problem is you donÆt have any hardeners and you really need to boost EM and Thermal resistanceÆs.
You can do what you want but you need to use T1 relays and a mix of shield extender with shield recharges in the mid slots. I also recommend boosting resistance.
Have you tried a pure hitpoint ship? Fit a bunch of amour plates and shield extenders. It can work well.

nope i havent tried a pure hit ship but some people say you can watch those go away pretty darn fast because at most you can get 24000 armor hp and maybe 14000 shield hp
i thought usually that goes away pretty fast

i tried the ship simulator in ship fit and looks like 5 cap rechargers 2, two cap relays
having 6 medium guns running, 4 hardners, and 1 large armor repairer can last forever so far
its remaining at a constant 3000cap after 5mins so far
so think this might work well

sorry about reposting over and over lol :P
but 10mins and still above 3100, i wonder if this would work well for pvp too since im never going to run out of cap unless someone have 7 cap destabs, unless they can out damage my armor repairer

Edited by: Pottsey on 04/06/2005 21:36:16 ônope i havent tried a pure hit ship but some people say you can watch those go away pretty darn fast because at most you can get 24000 armor hp and maybe 14000 shield hpö It depends on resistanceÆs I would much rather have 20k hitpoints with hardeners on then 25k and no hardeners. The other way to think of it is an extra large T2 shield booster cannot heal 25k hitpoints in 1 minuet and even if it could you would run out of cap. Shield extenders and amour plates are also getting a boost soon. The new shield extender are 2100 hitpoints instead of 1400 per module which makes 20 to 25k shields possible.
Which ship simulator do you use? I never fund a good one and always end up spending stupid amounts on modules that I only use once.
As for your amor setups I should not really give advise as its not my strong point amor. But would 1 large and 1 mid repairer work better with 3 hardeners over 4 hardeners and 1 large?
Is your setup for PvE or PvP as both need very diffrent modules.

Edited by: Zungen on 04/06/2005 21:41:17 Edited by: Zungen on 04/06/2005 21:39:23 i use the ship fit simulator, the one that comes with eve character map, it calcualtes based on your skills bonuses too so makes it easier
i guess it would make more sense, then again this setup im using is for sansha npc hunting, for pvp i think one medium armor repairer might help tho, but i would have enough cpu and grid for another large one i think :P
with all slots filled as it is now, i am using 463.2 cpu out of 720 and using 3509 powergrid out of 108000

Charman with Shipfit
Charmanager with Shipfit together, latest versions as far as im aware.
Note, the equipment in this shipfit version is pretty out of date, as it was leaked from the developer a while ago. Probably possible to edit the files to update it if you want to.

when sheild tanking its best to just use 2 thermal hardeners and a em. then use 2 t2 large and a sheild amp or extender. then load ur lows with pdu 2s,your sheild recharge rate will be nice as will your cap recharge rate.
