don't know where u got 86% from, but mine read shields: EM: | 00 Explosive: | 60 Kinetic: | 70 Thermal: | 80 armour: who cares on harpy

May have been the Hawk! Yes the base is 80% but im wondering what it is once you get in the ship and the lvl5 Caldari frig comes into effect? (ship bonus etc)

the stats on the ship are correct for level 5 frig (you have to have that). the 10% bonus is claculated for level 5 frig then applied to the stats on the ship. its a little misleading and ccp should either remove the bonus or take the stats off the ship t |

So 80% is the max. Thats different I always thought skill bonuses were not added until you got into the ship. Very confusing and yes they do need to clear that up!

Now....If i put a kin and therm passive hardener (30% extra iirc) What would I get then...
Im sure you can guess where im going, I would like to know the highest this can go to.

Common sense does dictate that if a ship has 60% resist and you get 10% bonus per frig level trained its hardly going to be 110% is it?

It has confused me a bit. Still there must be an upper limit that it is possible to get too.

Thanks Typherin Thats what I wanted to know! I see what you mean about it not being worth it + I doubt the cap would keep up with that many hardeners! Good to know though!
