Nvidia, I think. My roommate uses a 670. I run ATI, and my setup is more expensive than my roommate's, but while I crash once every 3-4 weeks, his never has.

Anything that's around or above 4000 in that aspect will certainly be able to do what you request (at well over 60 FPS in almost any circumstance where the CPU does not become the bottleneck) - that's including maxed-out driver quality details too (not just game settings) and high antialiasing.
Heck, even one that's barely around 2000 will give you over 60 FPS in the client that has focus, if you find the sweet spot as far as quality-vs-performance is concerned in driver and game settings (some things that allegedly increase image quality are not really noticeable at all, and require a pretty hefty increase in processing power, so they're better left toned down or even turned off IMO).
Basically, a GTX 650 Ti could be sufficient, possibly even a Radeon HD 7770 might be borderline enough. Or, to be absolutely sure, either a GTX 660, or a Radeon HD 7870.

Either GTX 660 or HD 7870 look like they should result in a quite playable game (well over 30 FPS minimum) even at ultra settings in fullHD resolution.
If you want to pass 60 FPS with ultra settings and also decent antialiasing, you might need either a Radeon HD 7970 or a GTX 670.

PhysX is a great thing; just that it is requiring of higher end GPUs to support it fully in an immersive game environment. That doesn't really fly with the current market if posts here and few other places are any indication. A lot of people seem disinclined to invest in their PCs beyond web browsing and basic gaming capability.
Not that I can't understand that. PCs can get expensive if you go all out on them.
I'm not sure why everyone suggests the Ti. It has additional CUDA Cores which is nice, but for the sub $300 range GPUs, you might as well go with a 660 and call it good. It's not like most people are going to use that power anyway. It will still perform well beyond what my 460 does, and that's enough to run most games with max graphics.

Evga 670 is a very good card, and excellent customer support.
It isn't too pricey and has about 10% less performance compared to 680 (or so i heard) If you fial, try again
If you flel, try again.
Try as much as you want, you'll still... faill? |
