It was recently announced in the 1.1 all ships that can use a convert Op's cloak can do a convert ops cyno. In the case of the BR, only one race will be able to effectively cyno. Most of the BR's have only 1 high slot for the cloak, but the prowler has a second and will be make an amazing cyno'er with tons of room for more LO and bombs for bombing fleets. I have never felt that extra slot on the Powler to be too much of a bonus until this has been added. Would like to collect some thoughts to see if it is just me who thinks this way or if everyone does. I would suggest making all BR's have 2 highs and maybe the prowler 3. |

why anyone would be lighting a covert cyno with a blockade runner is the real mystery here. As long as they can all take a covert bridge, I don't see the difference. Fighting is Magic |

The convert cyno sounds like an Amarr religious super weapon for winning the war before a shot is even fired. Imagine lighting a convert cyno in a contested system and winning over the hearts and minds of the people. Totally OP. |

He made the same mistake 3 times in the same post.
The best part is I did not notice the mistake until I read your post. |

The Prowler has always had that extra high, and it's the only thing it has going for it. It can't carry rigged cruisers, it's not particularly tanky, and when fit for speed it actually has horrible cargo capacity. In exchange, it can fit a probe launcher. Or -- now -- a covert cyno. That's neat, and it's a good reason to choose a Prowler.
If, on the other hand, all BRs were to gain a high, the Prowler would no longer be the default choice to work in wormholes -- the Prorator/Viator would win there too. The only niche it would retain would be the fringe case of wanting a cloak, cyno, and probe launcher. Frankly, I have no idea why you'd fit one that way, but maybe I'm not being creative enough here. |

why would anyone be lighting cynos in a prowler when he could be lurking in hostile wormholes and anchoring containers with obscene names instead?

good one too.
Some good gate camps, a bit of luck and its decloak by can or bump and boom. If this jsut a buzzard it won't be end of the world. if Its the transport with fuel and bombs to make the op go longer......the ninjya ops jsut got real interesting logistically speaking. |

I completely agree with this (I'm assuming by "rigged" you mean "repackaged"). Adding a high to the other BR's I feel would really homogenize the ship class. |

Yes. Repackaged. My bad. Might need to look into getting more sleep before posting these days. |

The covert cyno on the fuel truck is awesome, but only useful if it can still cloak.
For instance with the fuel truck having a covert cyno it can stay back while the entire gang, pig and all jump into the fight. Then the p ig can go back and retrieve the truck afterwards. It's also a good fall back position for the BLOPS BSs. Now you don't have to leave another ship behind to cyno you back, or risk jumping the truck in the middle of a fight to take it with you.

I kinda like the current meta for blockade runners. Prorator for all things non-WH, and Prowler for all things WH. I'd really like to see a second high on the Prorator and the Prowler get more cargo space though. But, it'd kinda ... be meh.

Just something to keep in mind... while they haven't really "adjusted" many of the T2 ships yet, adding the extra utility high slot to Covert Ops ships for that cyno might be on the to do list. We will have to wait and see. |
