Where is that street, anyway? It looks familiar somehow. |

Hmm.. Well, I'm at work with my sound muted, so no music for me. I was going to go with Pacman, based on the yellow circular smiley face and narrow alleys. |

Nakkedk got it right it was cs_italy from the good ol' days, so you should be guessing on his 2 clues.
Links below might explain.
The picture (clue 1) http://home.clear.net.nz/pages/joe.fish/images/cs_italy.jpg
The music (clue 2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmuVI0Ll-F4

Thats fairly obscure. The music rings bells and for some reason those bells sound like deus ex, but I don't think thats what it is. Might be a game from that vintage though. |

It's not Deus Ex, but I think you do have the right vintage. |

Homeworld it is! I don't know, I think Pussnheels should get credit for it, since he got it without the use of the Youtube comments...
1) The banana is a reference to the shape of the Mothership.
(Edit: http://images.wikia.com/homeworld/images/0/0a/Kushan_Mothership.jpg)
2) The music was used quite a bit throughout the game. It's used when you first test the new Mothership, and then when you return to Kharak after testing the Mothership's prototype warp drive system to find that the surface of the planet is on fire as a result of an unexpected attack. |

Cool song, whatever it is. EVE PvP reminds me of sex: there is a long build-up often made frustrating by idiots; a semi-tense and semi-fun stretch to get into business that you try to keep quick; an all too short climax where you pray nothing goes wrong, and you're probably going to go home with less money then you started with. |
