Why is it that initiating an invention run requires so many mouse clicks?
4 clicks to choose Installation. Really? 1 click - OK 1 click - Accept quote . I already said OK, why not combine the OK and Accept quote screens?
The fix: Have the system default to the current installation and auto-select the next available slot. Result - 2 clicks. If the system then presented the results for an OK (Accept Quote), that's all we need! |

I think everyone already feels your pain (no pun intended).
Few suggestions. The way I do it is, right click bpc...select invention, hit Select Installation and then double click on the free slot, then hit OK again, and hit the enter key (they highlight the OK button). This makes it a little faster.
Anywho, these issues have been brought up numerous times to CCP and they haven't said anything about it afaik. There are probably 20 simple changes they could make to invention that would make it easier to use, but...
They did fix the issue with the OK button being highlighted when it opens the Accept quote box though. So maybe they can make these changes and just don't know they are an issue? Dunno
