A biker friend told me this tale about the funeral for a member of his club. Biker guy dies, so they have the funeral parlor dress him in his riding gear and sit him on his Harley. To get him to the cemetary, they put him and the bike on a flatbed farm trailer pulled by a tractor. So it's like a parade going through the small upstate NY village. Dead biker guy on a flatbed, with a full biker club escort ahead and behind. At the cemetary they lower him bike and all into the grave. Buried with his Harley-- ancient pharoahs had nothing on this guy. |

Put em underground and you have a instant bomb shelter. There is a company that is doing that now. Yours perhaps? |

Considering where CCP is loacted, I'd think a special 'viking funeral' event for deceased capsuleers would be something they'd be sympathetic towards... Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

Why build when you can buy U.S. government property cheap? Here's a good and ugly one with a current bid of only $1,000. It's in Grant, New Mexico, which can't have all that many people around. Any savvy hermit ought to keep an eye on that that government property auction site. If you help someone when they're in trouble, they will remember you when they're in trouble again.

Actually, no.
Having worked at a McDonalds for a few months when I was all of 16 yo, their food has just about the shortest shelf life imaginable.
Any food left out waiting for 20 minutes was summarily thrown out by requirement. It degrades extremely quickly. America is the only country to go from barbarism to decadence (and back to barbarism - KI) without civilization in between. - Oscar Wilde - 1870's |

Indeed. I don't really see a problem with that, and anyone that say otherwise is just full of them self and best come off it. American, European, does not matter, they were honoring a mans memory, and it is a way to deal with loss.
Just as I raised a toast to my dead uncle when I got the news, just a way to remember him by. He was dead so it was purely for my own sake.
The man might have had poor tastes when he was alive, since fast food usually taste pretty bad, but eh, if thats his thing so be it. |
