Was marked as fixed in one of the recent patches, but I still find people with available killrights in overview not marked with it.
It then starts working after turning it off and on again a couple of times in overview settings (where it's already selected) but it then breaks again after logging out and in again. |

Anyone else seeing this? Happening again today - can see people with the KR icon in selected items if I scroll up and down overview, open up overview settings and I have tags and a background configured for it but it's not showing in overview, then I turn the colourtag off and on again without changing anything else, and a few seconds later they change colour in overview and it continues working at least for that session - but on a later login it'll be broken again. |

I have exactly this. Have to refiddle settings each time, and it still has a delay, sometimes even needing the settings to be refiddled every time a new one enters grid. (Eg, get the killrights on one person to highlight. While they're still there, another person with killrights may appear and yet the settings have to be fiddled again for that one to update!)
Fix entirely insufficient :( |

Hello CCP anyone watching? Bug reported it last year when it was completely broken but the fix isn't much good. It's a shame since it's a big part of what was a good expansion. |

Hi,
can you bug report this again and add information about the targets that should have kill rights available so we can investigate this properly?

done, id=153764, with pics attached
key point seems to be to not have changed or even opened overview settings, nor selected a pilot with available KRs, during that login session - once you do, then eventually something "wakes up" and it works from then on until you log off, but I don't see KR pilots up to that point and so have to find them manually by scrolling up and down overview, which isn't ideal... |

Hi, thank you!
But can you make a bug report from the in game tool? You find it in the help window (F12) and Report Bug right at the bottom.
That way logs and other useful things will be attached with your bug report and can help us in figuring out what's wrong Gÿà EVE User Interface Programmer Gÿà GÖÑ Team Super Friends GÖÑ @CCP_Punkturis My Dev Blogs |

I can try later on, problem is I'm at war, and the only place to reliably find people with KR public is Jita undock as there are always people trolling with expensive public killrights there, but I can't hang around there for obvious reasons.
Tried today, and it showed the bug on warping in for a good 30 seconds, but as I was filling in the form then overview "woke up" and the colour tags appeared so I didn't submit it just then. I don't know how much diagnostic stuff comes across from the ingame bug reports, whether it's more useful reporting whilst it's showing the bug, or whether the transition from not-showing to showing might be logged? |

Ydnari, unfortunately when you created the bug report, you submitted at 19.50. At this time I see in one screenshot that the kill right hadn't shown up. But you have added afterwards a screenshot at 20.00 when the kill right did show up. I am missing 10 minutes of logs that would have otherwise told me when the UI decided to update that character showing his available kill rights.
I hate to ask this of you, a third time. But unfortunately some crucial information is missing. If you can please write another bug report after when the pilot in the overview shows the available kill rights, then it will have the information I need.
The logs give us valuable information, so in this particular instance, I need to see it when the overview updates showing the kill right. CCP Paradox | EVE Quality Assurance | Team Super Friends @CCP_Paradox |

I've uploaded possibly the most boring EVE video in existence demonstrating the bug in case that's any help at all - it lasted nearly 3 minutes from warp-in this time

How bout this idea...
Test. Your. Stuff. Is it really that hard?
I hate to call you out, but, I've seen alot of issues in the last couple years, and CCP's response to them leads me to believe that a good number of the CCP Dev's make the conscious decision to NOT TEST the new things they are adding to the game. If they do test it, it is in a very very isolated situation, and done very quickly. |

I've noticed a complete lack of reporting on this issue by other players so I thought it best that I add my voice to this as well.
My Alt & his Corp mates all suffer from this issue. Before the last stealth patch it seemed that finding a kill right could only be done by actively scanning up & down the overview until that white target reticule appeared on the selected item window. Then it was a matter of accessing the overview settings and turning off the show kill rights selector & turning it back on. This invariably would show the reticule on all player entities in the over view (though not always would it list all).
Now it does not show all, it only updates the one originally selected. This is a behavior we have all noticed. It makes me wonder if the state code for defining the kill right is an addon that is not included in the original overview data stream.
I am not going to start sending in data dumps about this as it is such a widely know issue I'm surprised that it has not been resolved as of yet. It is easily re creatable for sure just sit on the Jita 4-4 undock at the weekend. |

I've watched this, but I couldn't really dive into detail due to uncertainty of when we could do something on bounties/killrights.
The situation here, is heavy load. Essentially it requires a fair bit of programmer time to get right (and there is only one who currently knows the system well enough to take this on) and with Rubicon we have had other features for the expansion prioritized over maintenance/other stuff.
That being said, Tuxford has almost completed that work, and this week I have begun testing it. I will be finishing the testing in a mass test this Thursday on Singularity. You can take part if you want, and provide feedback from your experiences there.
So tl;dr, this should be fixed for Rubicon. CCP Paradox | EVE Quality Assurance | Team Super Friends @CCP_Paradox |
