Hi I'm looking for a fitting for my Iteron III. I'm going to do hauling missions and some transporting of goods for myself too. (Buy low sell high)
Could anyone please give me a fitting of max 6 million for an Iteron III? :) I don't know what to expect of missions, and what to need for my own trips.
Help is much appreciated! |

Really?
Its a hauler.
expanded cargoholds in the lows. Cargo rigs. Maybe a prop mod in the mid (dunno if that would help in missions).
Some shield mods in the mids if you want (not gonna make a difference)
Whatever you feel like in the highs.
Really all you need are the cargo rigs and expanders. You cannot tank one to survive a gank. You could alternatively carry some nanos etc to put in the lows if a mission does not require the full cargo to align faster. |

Thank you for the reply. but could you please specify the names of some of the things you mentioned? I'm pretty new here and don't know anything of the things you mentioned, except for the expanded cargohold. |

high: uh, doesnt really matter. Could fit a prototype cloak if you want.
mid: prop mod = microwarpdrive ecm burst if in low/null
low: cargo expanders or inertia stabilizers if you dont need extra cargo
rigs: cargohold optimization |

[Iteron Mark III, Iteron Mark III fit]
Expanded Cargohold II Expanded Cargohold II Expanded Cargohold II
Upgraded 1MN Microwarpdrive I Adaptive Invulnerability Field II Adaptive Invulnerability Field II
Salvager I Small Tractor Beam I
Medium Cargohold Optimization I Medium Cargohold Optimization I Medium Cargohold Optimization I
There is a little bit of everything. The only things you really need are the lows and rigs. Salvager cause you never know if you pass some interesting wreck and want to salvage. Tractor in case you have something to pick up, it can help bring it to you saving a little time maybe.
shield hardeners dont do much, I just threw them in to put something there.
If you are new I'd suggest either:
EFT
or
PYFA
They make fitting fun. |

Read the descriptions in the linked posts. Pretty straight forward. They are both out of game fitting tools for eve. Lets you make up loadouts for every ship in game so you can play around with fits before you go buying everything in game. |

New player has no use for microwarp, just put em hardener/resistance, medium extenders, damagecontrol and cargo expanders/inertial stabs to lows. |

Actually there is one good use of an MWD (even if an AB works).
It's when you jump through the wrong gate and have to slowboat back.
Happens way too often ;)

Even with perfect skills and unlimited budget there is no way to tank a T1 indy that would survive a gank. Sure fit a prop mod and some hardeners/extenders just to fill the slots, but 5000ehp with a hit box the size of a indy will die to even the poorest gank attempt. Prop mod yes, any thing that makes you faster is always good.
There are only two useful ways to fit a T1 indy. Max cargo, or Max speed/align dropping a cargo extender or two for inertia stabilizers. But only if you do not need the cargo space. |
