Try an Apocalipse with meta 4 large pulse, its the more friendly of the t1 laser Bs
( my advise is a +20% range t2 rig to push your optimal with standard ammo around 50km to hold up dps on distance )
Tachyons are just another way but require almost maxed skills
Or, if you like more adattability , use your battlecruirer skill to lead to minmatar way ( did i read bad or Cyclone is going to be a missile boat? Perfect start to crosstraining ! Then projectiles and command ships point to a Sleipnir )

You could go one of three ways IMO:
1: Go Amarr for lasers, but with this you will also need to train an armor tank. Also, lasers generally lack versatility outside of the Amarr region's rats (Sansha, Blood Raiders).
2: Train Hybrids and use the Caldari gunships like a Ferox or a Rokh. This would be your quickest option.
3: Train Minmatar ships. Many (if not most) are or can be shield tanked, so you won't need to train for a new tank. Also, there are several ships that use missiles, so while you train up your gunnery, these will be useful.
So unless the idea of training up an armor tank on top of the gunnery skills appeals to you, I would recommend option 2 or 3. If I had my toon to train fresh again I would stick to Minmatar and Caldari (I can fly all T1 subcaps at a reasonable level but personally rarely use the Gallente or Amarr ships except in special cases).
Hope this was helpful. Good Luck and fly safe. o7 |
