Hi,
I'm still getting empty responses from the API server. It seems to just be from this IP. Could I be blacklisted? That should be very improbable as I've sent maybe 10 api requests today :S

Confirming empty API responses just on my IP, tested with VPN and they come through.
Please un black list my IP, I've had 0 errors on my requests and have sent a ridiculously low number (maybe 10). |

To my knowledge the only banned IP was scraping every possible integer ID from the characterName call, and thus using more than 75% of available server resources. Well it's actually an entire C-net that we had to ban as that user would switch IPs immediately upon being blocked and continue his scraping. Perhaps you're on the same C-net as him by some unlucky chance?
This is however stated with the caveat that I've only had three sips of coffee so far today. I wasn't in the whole day yesterday and haven't gone over all of my mail so perhaps an automated blocking has been instated. @CCP_PrismX EVE Database Developer and Expert Ranter Member of Team Pony Express |

I have just got en email from a user of jEveAssets that have been temp banned for excessive errors. I have no problems updating jEveAssets from my local computer... I have not received the log file, yet - so I do not know if it's a problem with the jEveAssets code or not... If it's a jEveAssets problem, I will of course fix it ASAP! Nope ,it's not jEveAssets. I get a lot of complains too about EVEMon, although I myself didn't had any issues so far. All complains though are for the US side, while I'm on the EU side. |

Hi,
I'm making manual (and now semi-automatic for testing through PHP, caching with mysql, honoring the next_update date) API calls to the corporation wallet journal. I can send any dev my IP to see if perhaps it is part of the cnet (76.173.2xx.xxx) range.
If I VPN into a france server for example I can access the API just fine. Empty responses coming from this, however. This is US west coast.

Thanks PrismX is referring to a Class C (/24) netblock, not Cnet the tech-news people! Do poke him anyway though; could be something's gone fubar with connectivity somewhere. |

I know that... I thought I might be included in the block of IP that were banned.
I've spoken to Prism and he believes that if I was banned I would get some error or HTTP error code. Unfortunately though that's not the case, I'm getting a 0 bit response from this IP. I've tried 8 other IP not in the 76.173.xxx.xxx range, all work fine, it's only on this IP range.
